M. Sasikumar (born 28 September 1975) is a Tamil film director, actor and producer. He is best known in the Tamil film industry for his debut film Subramaniapuram (2008). The low-budget film received attention for its original script, direction, screenplay, editing and accurate sets and costumes resurrecting Madurai from the 1980s.

A. R. Murugadoss (born Murugadoss Arunasalam) is an Indian film director, producer and screenwriter.A. R. Murugadass was born in Kallakurichi, Tamil Nadu. He studied B.A. in Bishop Heber College, Trichy. In the College he had the great affinity towards Tamil films and friends. During his college days, he was active in cultural events, particularly in performing stage mimic shows imitating famous personalities of cine field. Murugadoss currently resides in Virugambakkam, Chennai.

Right from his school days, Murugadoss has been inclined towards writing short stories and novels. Encouraged by people close to him, he moved from Kallakurichi to Chennai. He started his career by working with writer Kalaimani. Later he worked in the Tamil film Poochudava, acted in a cameo role and as an assistant director with S. J. Suryah for films like Vaali and Khushi.
S. J. Suryah recommended to ajith for directing his first film, Dheena. It was a commercial mass entertainer and was a blockbuster. His next one Ramana starring Vijayakanth was a commercial success too and was one of the biggest hits of the year. His third film was Ghajini starring Surya and Asin. It was one of the biggest blockbusters and he gained recognition as a director. His fourth film was Stalin starring Chiranjeevi, which fared well at the box office. His fifth film was Ghajini which was the Hindi remake of Ghajini and released on 25 December 2008. It broke all records to become the highest grossing Bollywood film at the time of its release. Murugadoss's Tamil film 7aam Arivu, with Surya Sivakumar doing the lead role, pairing together for the second time, released on Diwali to mixed reviews and didn't do well at box office. Murugadoss signed a deal with Fox Star Studios which includes the studio to produce and internationally distribute two Tamil films every year.[3] The first production in association with Fox Star was Engeyum Eppodhum, starring Jai, Anjali and Ananya. He is now shooting his new venture with actor Vijay in Thuppakki.This is first time where Murugadoss pair with Vijay in this action-adventure flick,where vijay pairing with Kajal Aggarwal.

Priya Raman is a Malayalam actress and film producer. She has appeared in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and one Kannada cinema and in television serials of both languages. Her first film was the Rajnikanth produced film Valli, in 1993. Her second film. Arthana, directed by I. V. Sasi and released in 1993 was her debut in Malayalam.

Malayalam Director Joshy cast her as an air force pilot in 1993 in Sainyam with Mammootty. In 1997 she appeared in Kalyanappittannu with Mukesh, Bhoopathi with Suresh Gopi, Asuravamsam, Thumboli Kadappuram etc. with Manoj K Jayan and Aaram Thamburan with Mohanlal. In 2003 she produced the film Bheeshmar.

Besides films, she has also appeared in a number of Tamil and Malayalam television serials like the Tamil serial Durga, Malayalam T.V serial Kavyanjali produced by Ekta Kapoor of Balaji Telefilms (as "Anjali"), Swarnamayooram,Pavakoothu and Orma (as "Girly").

Kishore Kumar (born 14 August 1974), credited as Kishore, is an Indian film actor, born in Karnataka. Known for playing characters that fit the bill of the anti-hero — be it a cop, politician, or character role, Kishore made a space for himself in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam cinema.


Kishore was a student of National College, Basavanagudi where he started off with theatre doing plays like Teregalu and Samrata Ashoka. He then did his masters in Kannada literature from Bangalore University. He took up teaching in a college in Bangalore where he worked for two years and then as a part-time fashion designer worked under fashion designer Vidyasagar, a professor from Indian Institute of Fashion Technology (IIFT).


Kishore made his film debut in the 2004 Kannada film Kanti. He got a role in the film after having been identified initially to design costumes for the film and eventually went on to win a State award for his role in it. For his role in the film Raakshasa, he won the Karnataka State Award for Best Supporting Actor. After he appeared in a couple of other Kannada films, he was approached by director Vetrimaaran to work in Desiya Nedunchalai, as he was looking for an actor who could speak Tamil with a Kannada accent. The film was dropped, but he got a chance to act in Polladhavan. Kishore, particularly won praise for his portrayal of forest brigand Veerappan in the 2013 film Attahasa. In the same year, he appeared in a low-budget film Jatta in which played the role of a forest guard. The film was a commercial and critical success and won Kishore praise from critics.

Kajol Devgn (née Mukherjee) known mononymously as Kajol, is an Indian actress appearing in Hindi and Tamil films. She has received six Filmfare Awards, among eleven nominations and along with her late aunt Nutan, holds the record for most Best Actress wins at Filmfare, with five. In 2011, the Government of India honoured her with the Padma Shri for her contribution to Indian Cinema.

Suman Ranganathan (Kannada: ಸುಮನ್ ರಂಗನಾಥನ್; born 26 July 1974) is an Indian model and actress who has starred in Kannada, Bengali, Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi films.

Suman Ranganath was born to Kannadiga parents in Bangalore, Karnataka on 26 July 1974.Ranganath debut was in the Kannada film Santha Shishunala Sharifa, in which she played the wife of Shareefa played by Sridhar.

She then appeared in director Shankar Nag's film C.B.I. Shankar. She appeared in Fareb (1996), her first Bollywood film, which was an Indian adaptation of Unlawful Entry (1992).

She appeared as an Indian-American socialite in Aa Ab Laut Chalen (1999). In 2003 she appeared in Baghban. Ranganath was also in a team of judges for the Mr India World 2007.

Gauri Shinde is an Indian ad-film and feature film director. Shinde has made her directional debut with the highly acclaimed English Vinglish (2012), which marked the comeback of actress Sridevi. Shinde featured in the Financial Times 2012 list of '25 Indians To Watch'. She also featured on Rediff's list of 'Bollywood's 5 Best Directors of 2012.' Her husband R. Balki is the director of acclaimed films such as Cheeni Kum (2007) and Paa (2009).



Gauri Shinde was born and brought up in Pune, where she studied at St Joseph's High School and later graduated from Symbiosis Institute of Mass Communication in Pune. Her aspiration towards film-making started right from the days at the end of her college life.



She moved to Mumbai for her internship with documentary director Siddharth Kak and later started working with advertising agencies like IBW, Bates Clarion and Lowe Lintas, where R. Balki was the creative director. In following years she made over 100 advertising films and short films;her short film Oh Man! (2001) was selected for the Berlin Film Festival.



She made her feature film debut as a director with English Vinglish (2012), a film by Shinde's own relationship with her mother, who ran her own pickle business out of her home in Pune, and was a Marathi-speaking woman, who didn't speak English well, which embarrassed Shinde as a child. As she said in an interview, "I made this film to say sorry to my mother." The film was released on 14 September 2012 at the Toronto Film Festival followed by its commercial release in India and worldwide on 5 October 2012, and went on to receive both critical and commercial success. Besides the Filmfare Award for Best Debut Director, she was awarded the 'Laadli National Media Awards for Gender Sensitivity'.

Madhu Balakrishnan born 24 June 1974 is an Indian playback singer who sings in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada languages. Balakrishnan is from Tripunithura, Cochin, Kerala in India. He is a graded artist for All India Radio and Doordarshan.


He has performed with major playback singers such as K.J. Yesudas, Asha Bhosle, Jayachandran, M. G. Sreekumar, K. S. Chitra, Sujatha Mohan, Madhuri and P. Susheela. He is a life member of the Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (MACTA). He performs regularly in the "Swaralaya Dance & Music Festival" held in Palakkad and the "Chembai Sangeethootsavam" in Guruvayur and also appears in popular television programs on south Indian Television channels such as Doordarshan, Kairali TV, Asianet and Amrita TV. He has also performed overseas in countries such as UAE, Oman, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Malaysia, Canada and Singapore


Madhu Balakrishnan holds a degree in music from the Academy of Indian Music and Arts, Chennai. He started training in carnatic music from his childhood under Sreedevi and Chandramana Narayanan Namboothiri, and later had the guidance of T. V. Gopalakrishnan, Manikrishna Swami and Vedavalli of Chennai.He participated many musical concert for Arunothaya college - alaveddy in Jaffna, Colombo, London,Paris,Australia,Singapore,Malasiya.


Madhu shot to fame with the song "Amme Amme" from the film "Vaalkannadi" in 2002, which got him a Kerala Government State Award. He has sung around 150 Malayalam film songs, 65 Kannada film songs, 45 Telugu film songs and 80 Tamil film songs. He has sung almost 10000 song[citation needed] in devotional and other non-film albums.Some of Madhu's hits include "Kuttanadan Kaayalile" from "Kazhcha" in Malayalam, "Konjaneram Konjaneram" a duet with Asha Bhosle from "Chandramukhi", the Rajnikanth starrer, "Kanakandenadi Sharade" from "Aptamitra" in Kannada and "Kannaa kandeinadee" from the Tamil film "Parthiban Kanavu". 


His hit song "Pichai Pathiram", written and set to music by Ilaiyaraaja for the movie Naan Kadavul, won him the Mirchi Music award in 2010. Madhu has also lent his voice for the much acclaimed Ilaiyaraaja album Thiruvasagam.Recently Madhu sang the title song for the Malayalam serial "Swamy Ayyappan", which has become a great hit in almost all Hindu households. The song "Sabarimaamala vazhum Ayyappa" is one of the best devotional songs on Lord Ayyappa released recently. In 2010 Madhu, heading a team of amateur singers, won the inaugural Sun TV music competition "Sangeetha Maha Yuttham" against five other teams, each helmed by a professional singer.


In October 2010, Madhu and his pals, S36 the band, released their self-titled debut album of experimental songs. The band is helmed by cricketer Sreesanth, who is also Madhu's brother-in-law. The album is a compilation of songs that the group had informally released on the Internet earlier. These include "Jaago India", an inspirational song intended for the World Twenty20 Championship in 2007, and a song intended as an unofficial theme for the 2010 Commonwealth Games.Madhu, along with M. Jayachandran and M. G. Sreekumar, recorded songs for the Acethetik initiative. His contribution includes light music and Hindu devotional songs for the website

Vijay (born Joseph Vijay Chandrasekhar on 22 June 1974), often informally referred to as Ilaiya Thalapathi ,is an Indian film actor and playback singer, who is based in the cinema of Tamil Nadu.Vijay was born to S. A. Chandrasekhar, a film producer and director and Shobha Chandrasekhar, a Carnatic singer. He began his post-secondary studies at Loyola College in Chennai,Vijay married Sangeeta Sornalingam of Sri Lankan Tamil descent on August 25, 1999. They have two children, a son Jason Sanjay born in 2000 in London,and a daughter Divya Saasha born in 2005 in Chennai.
After performing roles as child actor in films produced by his father, made his debut in a lead role in the 1992 film Naalaya Theerpu. Vijay has starred in several successful popular romantic genre films since then, such as Poove Unakkaga (1996), Kadhalukku Mariyadhai (1997), Priyamudan (1998), Thulladha Manamum Thullum (1999), Kushi (2000), Priyamaanavale (2000), Kaavalan (2011) and recent comedy genre blockbuster Nanban (2012). He has worked as a playback singer in most of his films. During his career in the Tamil film industry, Vijay has been awarded two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and was nominated for one Filmfare Award. He was conferred honorary doctorate from MGR University for his philanthropic works. He also starred with several corporations as brand ambassador and is a former brand ambassador of the Indian Premier League cricket team, Chennai Super Kings.

Gautami Kapoor is a model turned actress, born on June 21, 1974 in Mumbai. She started her modeling career at the tender age of 16 and then decided to switch to acting. She marked her debut with the TV serial 'Alag Alag' on DD Metro.

Gautami's homely features gained the lead role in Balaji Telefilm's 'Ghar Ek Mandir'. This show did wonders to her life, as she got the instant fame with her character role of Binita and also met the man of her life Ram Kapoor on its sets. On 14th February 2003, Gautami got married to her longtime best friend turned boyfriend Ram Kapoor. The couple is having two children.

Post marriage she has reduced her onscreen appearance. She featured in supporting roles in the film like 'Kuch Naa Kaho', 'Fanaa', 'Student Of The Year' and 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects'.
