Vijay Raaz is an Indian film actor. His breakthrough came when he played the role of Dubeyji in the movie Monsoon Wedding and is also famous for his memorable performance in the movie Run in which his Kauwa Biryani act became highly and critically acclaimed. Since then, Raaz has been cast in small, often comedic roles, in many Hindi movies, often depicting the character of a common man. He marks his directorial debut with the upcoming release of Kya Dilli Kya Lahore.


Vijay was born in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. As a student of Kirori Mal College, he was a part of the dramatic society The Players. He also appeared in plays at the National School of Drama. He decided to focus on a film career and moved to Mumbai where he received a role in Ram Gopal Varma's Jungle. Naseeruddin Shah had seen him perform at the NSD and recommended him to Mahesh Mathai for Bhopal Express and to Mira Nair for Monsoon Wedding. After the success of Monsoon Wedding, Raaz received many roles. His first mainstream film cast as the leading actor was Raghu Romeo, a box office success where Raaz depicts the life of a confused lower-class Indian fellow.


He came into light for his memorable performance in the movie Run. In which his Kauwa Biryani act became highly acclaimed. His performance in the movie got the cult status and was praised by the masses. He also played a major role in the film Delhi Belly, where he played a ruthless gangster. As a villain in the movie he has received much critical applause for his performance.

Rosshan Andrrews born to Moolakuzhi Nedumparampil Andrews & Beny is an Indian film director who has made films in Malayalam cinema.He did his schooling from St.Aloysious Thrissur & college from Cochin College,Eranakulam.


Roshan is married to Ancy and the couple is blessed with three children Anjelina, Ryan & Ana Bella.Ancy is the only sister of music director Mejo Joseph, who made his film debut in Rosshan Andrrews's Notebook.


His first movie was the 2005 Malayalam movie Udayananu Tharam starring Mohanlal and Meena. After the success of this movie Rosshan Andrrews directed another movie in 2006 named Notebook. This movie had newcomers Skanda and Roma in the lead roles.


His next movie was the 2010 hit Evidam Swargamanu scripted by James Albert with Mohanlal in the lead role. Following this he directed Mohanlal-starrer Cassanova, a movie highly anticipated amongst Mohanlal fans which was released on 26 January 2012. The budget of the film was 210 million an expensive amount relative to the average budget for Malayalam movies.


Rosshan Andrrews won Kerala state films awards in 2006,2008 and 2010.[citation needed] He won the Pride of Cochin College Award for the year 2014
