Storyline

Minsara Kanna (English: Electrifying guy) is a 1999 Tamil film directed by K. S. Ravikumar. The film features Vijay and Monicka in the lead roles, while an ensemble supporting cast includes Rambha, Kushboo, Manivannan and Karan.The film's music is composed by Deva, and the film opened in September 1999 to average reviews and performed average at box office.

Indra Devi (Kushboo), the sister of Ishwarya (Monicka), is very rich and arrogant. Priya (Rambha) is her personal assistant. Kasi (Vijay) is the son of Mani (Mannivannan) and has fallen in love with Monicka in Germany. After hearing the story Indra Devi, Kasi comes to India with all his family. 

Meanwhile, Indra Devi is challenged by Vedhachalam (Mansur Ali Khan) who has also sent his son (Karan) to study in Germany. Karan also falls in love with Ishwarya. Kasi serves as a body guard for Kushboo, his brother works as a servant boy and Manivannan and his daughter serve as cooks for the Indra Devi 's family.

Priya (Ramba) falls in love with Kasi but later gives it to Ishwarya after knowing the truth of Kasi and ishwarya's love and they come to India. Kushboo hates men because his lover cheated her and married her owner's daughter due to her face burned in fire accident. 

He says that he loved only her beauty and not her from that kushboo hates men. One day she saws her lover who works as a poor slipper man and tells the story. Kasi's family was awaiting for indira devi's permission for her sister's marriage but kushboo plans to marry her sister with vedachalam's son karan but karan realises that ishwarya loves kasi.

In the marriage ceremony karan unites kasi and ishwarya from the opposition of her father vedachalam. But vedachalam says he is not a villain but sees like that. Indira devi plans to commit suicide but kasi stops it and says her sister cannot able to live without her. Atlast kasi and her family goes to germany in that hotel Ishwarya, her sister indra devi and his lover were in a hotel and unite kasi and ishwarya.
