Sekhar Kammula is an Indian film director, screenwriter and producer, known for his works in Telugu cinema. His first film, Dollar Dreams was a critical success, and won him the National Film Award for best debutant director. He has won six Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Awards.In 2011, Sekhar was among the director's delegation to represent Indian Cinema at the Cannes Film Festival.

Sekhar was schooled at St. Patrick's High School, Secunderabad. He completed his intermediate studies from St. Alphonsa's and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology.

He later went to the United States of America to pursue a Graduate degree in Computer Sciences at New Jersey. After a brief stint in the IT industry, he enrolled in the MFA program at Howard University, Washington,

His second film, Anand, was a blockbuster in 2004. His next film, Godavari, was praised by critics, but was a moderate success. Happy Days, which was released on September 28, 2007, was declared a smash hit. It was remade in Tamil and Kannada. He was a writer for Tamil version which was released in 2010. He then directed Leader released on 19 February 2010 to positive reviews. His new venture "Life is Beautiful" is a box office hit too with lots of positive feedback.

A former model and Indian actress, Namrata Shirodkar hails from a Maharashtrian family of Goan origin. In the year 1993, Namrata won the crown of Miss India. Apart from Bollywood, she has also been a part of Telugu cinema. The beauty achieved fifth place in Miss Universe pageant in 1993. She was also selected as first runner-up in the Miss Asia Pacific contest.

Namrata Shirodkar was born on January 22, 1972. The former Bollywood actress Shilpa Shirodkar is her elder sister. The well-known Marathi actress Meenakshi Shirodkar is her grand-mother. In the year 1999, Namrata Shirodkar was seen featuring in a Malayalam flick 'Ezhupunna Tharakan' opposite Mammootty. Alongside Chiranjeevi, she starred in a Telugu film 'Anji' in 2004. In the film 'Bride and Prejudice', Namrata essayed the role of Jaya Bakshi, the elder sister of Aishwarya Rai. This movie turned out to be a hit in UK, while it performed average in India. For her performance in the movie 'Pukar', Namrata was nominated for IIFA Best Supporting Actress Award.

Vasanthabalan is a Tamil film director.  He has made critically acclaimed films including Veyil and Angadi Theru.

The director began his career with Album, which failed at the box-office. His second film, produced by S Pictures company, Veyil became a blockbuster and was shown as the Indian representative at the 2007 Cannes Film Festival. Post Veyil, the director struck gold again with Angadi Theru which showcases a romantic tale set in the famous Ranganathan Street in the city of Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The film won critical acclaim and was a commercial success as well. It was shortlisted for India's submission for the Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film.  His latest release is Aravaan, a period film based on the novel Kaaval Kottam that reflects the life of people of South Tamil Nadu in the 18th century.

Nandha Periyasamy is an Indian film director, who has worked in Tamil cinema.

During his period as an assistant director, Nandha Periyasamy shared was a room mate of director N. Lingusamy and the pair often narrated their scripts to one another. His first film Oru Kalluriyin Kathai (2005) was a college romance starring Arya and Sonia Agarwal and opened to average reviews, with a critic noting "the story of Nandha Periyasamy is unbelievable and the narration is slow paced." The film had a lukewarm response at the box office, and the director then wanted to do a film that would strike an instant chord with the audience. With a script in hand, he wanted to rope in established artistes but nothing materialised for nearly two years and he thus decided to come up with another script where he would not have to rely on big stars. In his second film Maathi Yosi, the director dared to touch upon sensitive issues like untouchability and casteism. Featuring a predominantly new cast and inspired by the rural milieu renaissance started by Sasikumar in Subramaniyapuram (2008), his film opened to mixed reviews with a critic noting "starting promisingly by focusing on the casteist problem, the films goes wayward and loses its opportunity to be a unique movie." During the period he took up acting roles, notably appearing in Mayandi Kudumbathar (2009) alongside nine other directors. He returned in 2013 with a venture titled Azhagan Azhagi.

Sripathi Panditharadhyula Balasubrahmanyam Charan, popularly known as S. P. B. Charan, is an Indian film playback singer, actor, and producer known for his works primarily in Tamil Cinema.


Son of popular Indian singer S. P. Balasubrahmanyam, he first worked as a playback singer in the Tamil and Telugu cinema. He ventured into acting with the 2003 Kannada film Hudugigagi and is probably best known for his performance in the 2008 film, Saroja. He has established a film production company called Capital Film Works, and produced several Tamil films, including the cult hit Chennai 600028 in 2007 and the National Film Award-winning Aaranya Kaandam in 2012.


Charan was born to singer S. P. Balasubramanyam and his wife, Savitri in a Telugu Brahmin family and raised in Chennai. He has a sister, Pallavi. He received a degree in Bachelors in Business Administration from Pace University in New York, USA in 1997.


Charan first acted with his father in a film called Maha Yedabidangi directed by K. S. L. Swamy but the film did not release. In 1999 he starred in the television serial Oonjal produced by K. Balachander and directed by Sundar K. Vijayan, which was followed by Radan's Annamalai. He also starred in a TV serial named Bommaigal in Tamil and Akka Chellulu in Telugu. His first release was the Kannada film Hudugigagi in 2003 directed by B. Manjunath. In 2008 he played one of the lead roles in Venkat Prabhu's Saroja. On his performance, Sify wrote, "S.P.B Charan as Jagapathy Babu suits the role and is fantastic". He acted in Va in which he played shiva's prospective brother-in-law. He is currently action in two Tamil films Vanavarayan Vallavarayan  and Vizhithiru.


Charan established a film production company, Capital Film Works, in 2002. Their first production was the film Unnai Charanadainthen, in which Charan played the lead role, alongside his friend Venkat Prabhu. The film, which notably featured musical score by Charan's father, Balasubrahmanyam, received four Tamil Nadu State Film Awards. He further produced the Jayam Ravi-starrer Mazhai (2005), a remake of the Telugu film Varsham, which was a moderate success. His next production was Venkat Prabhu's directorial debut Chennai 600028 (2007), considered a trend-setting film that featured 11 newcomers in the lead and became one of 2007's biggest commercial as well as critical successes. In 2011 his sixth production, Aaranya Kaandam, was released to critical acclaim and became noted for getting 52 cuts by the regional Central Board of Film Certification. Although it did not achieve the expected box office success, Charan won a Swarna Kamal at the 59th National Film Awards as a producer of the film. His next production will be Thirudan Police by another debutant Caarthick Raju.


Charan began working as a playback singer in 1997 with "Deepangal pesum" from Devathai under Ilaiyaraaja's direction. About being the son of an icon, he stated; "my voice sounds so much like appa, people might not want to use a similar voice. When SPB himself is rocking, why would composers need his clone?" He has sung for composers A. R. Rahman and Devi Sri Prasad. Charan's most popular songs include "Nagila Nagila" from Alaipayuthey, "Mellaga" from Varsham, "Nenu Nenuga Lene" from Manmadhudu, "I Love you Shailaja" from Mazhai, "Please Sir" from Boys, "Maaja Maaja" from Jillunu Oru Kadhal, "Oru Nanban Irundhal" from Enakku 20 Unakku 18, "O Shanti" from Vaaranam Aayiram, "Nee Naan" from Mankatha. In 2010, he recorded a song on the Kadhal 2 Kalyanam soundtrack for Yuvan Shankar Raja and recorded with his father for the first time in Tamil for the film Aadukalam, for which they both won the Vijay Award for Best Male Playback Singer.


In 1996, he and childhood friends Venkat Prabhu and Premgi Amaren set up a music band called Next Generation which also had Yugendran and Thaman as members.


In September 2011, Sona Heiden pressed sexual assault charges against Charan after an encounter at a party. While on bail, he counter-sued for defamation. In a deal brokered by his father, the case was withdrawn after Charan made an apology. After his first marriage ended in divorce, he married again in early 2012. Charan underwent a notable weight loss in late 2010. In response to speculation, he stated it was in response to becoming health-conscious.

Shweta Menon is an Indian model, actress and television anchor. She has predominantly acted in Malayalam and Hindi language films, besides appearing in a number of Tamil productions.


Starting her career as an actress in Malayalam feature films in the early 1990s, she ventured into modeling and became noted, after participating and winning at several beauty pageants, which led to her debut in Bollywood. Following appearances in over 30 Hindi films, in which she generally conveyed a glamorous image, her acting career took a turn by the mid-2000s, with her returning to Malayalam cinema and accepting substantial roles. Menon hails from Valanchery in Malappuram district in Kerala, but was born at Chandigarh to Malayali parents Naranankutty and Sarada Menon. Her father served in the Indian Air Force while her mother remained a housewife. She studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 1, East Hill, Kozhikode. Actor Anoop Menon is her cousin.

R. N. R. Manohar is an Tamil film actor and director. He directed films like Maasilamani (2009) and Vellore Maavattam (2011).


His nine year old son Ranjan died in a swimming pool on August 2012.


RNR Manohar started his career by assisting K. S. Ravikumar in films like Band Master and Suriyan Chandran. He wrote dialogues for Kolangal and also worked as assistant and appeared in a small role as reporter in that film. He wrote dialogues for Thennavan and Punnagai Poove. Manohar played a small role in Thennavan appearing as a gangster who tries to kill Vivek instead gets killed by him. As an actor, he was seen playing small negative roles in films like Dhill and Sutta Pazham. He appeared as Nassar's brother in law in Veeram.


He made his directorial debut with Maasilamani. His second directorial was Vellore Maavattam, a police drama.

S. D. Vijay Milton is an Indian cinematographer and director working in Tamil films. He directed the romantic comedy film Azhagai Irukkirai Bayamai Irukkirathu (2006) starring Bharath and Mallika Kapoor. As of 2012, Milton had worked on 22 films. He got critical acclaim for his work in Kaadhal and Vazhakku Enn 18/9.


Following the success of Goli Soda, Vijay Milton has began production films on a film titled Idam Maari Irangiyavan, a road movie featuring Vikram and Samantha. He has also revealed that he will begin a film featuring actor T. Rajendar in late 2014, describing it as a film about how an unpopular individual becomes a real life hero.

Prem is an Indian film actor who appears in Tamil and Kannada films. He rose to fame starring in television serials, while he was also the winner of the reality dance show Jodi Number One during season 1.


Prem made his acting debut starring in a television serial produced by K. Balachander and directed by Samuthirakani. He was recommended by M. Karunanidhi, who had seen him perform in the TV serial Annamalai, to feature in the film version of Karunanidhi\\\'s novel Kannamma. The film released in 2005 to average reviews.


He participated in Jodi Number One with Pooja, his co-star in Annamalai. He went on to win season 1 and announced a move away from television serials and into films. He has since appeared in films including Nepali (2008), Unnaipol Oruvan (2009) and Vallakottai (2010). His brother-in-law is the singer Harish Raghavendra.
