Ravi Mariya is a south Indian film actor known for negative and character roles. He predominantly works in Tamil and Malayalam cinema and has also scripted and directed two movies. He gave the first break to actor Jiiva, who became very popular later. The movie was Aasai Aasaiyaireleased in 2002 and the same movie marked his directorial debut too. In 2010, he directed one more movie Milagaand he played cameo roles in both these movies too. He wrote the film script of Tamil films Aalwarin 2007 and Sandaiin 2008.
