Dhina is an Indian film composer and television series composer from Tamil Nadu, India.Dhina first worked as an assistant musician under popular composer G. K. Venkatesh, later being engaged by Meastro Ilaiyaraaja as a music conductor. He later became a music director for several Tele serials scoring for the title tracks. Some of his popular title scores for the serials include Chitthi, Annamalai, Ninaivugal, Payanam, Nambikkai, Chellamay, Metti Oli among others. It was the Radhika Sarathkumar produced hugely popular teleseries Chitthi that gave Dhina a very big break.

According to an interview given by Renuka to The Hindu, her family hailed from the town of Srirangam. Due to adverse circumstances caused by the early death of her father, she was compelled to move to the city of Chennai at an early age in search of work. In a short while, she was able to get a job as a drama artiste with Komal Swaminathan's troupe.

Bala Singh initially began his career featuring in stage plays and trained with the National School of Drama, before being handed his first film role in Nassar's Avatharam (1995). He played the role of the chief antagonist, Baasi, an expelled troupe member and won critical acclaim for his performance in the film. He has since played supporting roles in films directed by Shankar, Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan, often playing the role of villain.

Janaki Sabesh was born Bangalore in a Palghat Iyer family. She did her schooling from DTEA Senior Secondary School, New Delhi. She graduated in political science from Lady Sriram's and did her masters in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia, Delhi.
In 1991, Janaki Sabesh assisted Simi Garewal with her documentary on Rajiv Gandhi called India's Rajiv. She made her acting debut in the movie Minsara Kanavu starring Kajol and Arvind Swamy in which she played a nun.
