Freida selena pinto (born 18 october 1984) is an indian actress and model best known for her portrayal of "latika" in the 2008 british indian drama film slumdog millionaire, for which she won a screen actors guild award for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture.

Masumi Makhija is an award-winning actress born on 10th October, 1984 in Canada. Her family shifted to India, when she was one year old. Masumi began her career as a child artist appearing in television commercials and series. She is the sister of the music director Shona Urvashi.

Masumi made her debut in Bollywood with the film 'Chupke Se'. The actress was also seen in the other flicks like 'Maqbool'(2003), 'Woh Lamhe...' (2006), 'Padmashree Laloo Prasad Yadav' (2005), 'Dus Kahaniyaan' (2007), 'Saas Bahu Aur Sensex' (2008). The beautiful lady even appeared in one of the German flick titled 'Gate To Heaven' in the year 2003.

Narain (born as Sunil Kumar) is an Indian film actor, who has worked on Malayalam and Tamil films.Narain was born in Thrissur, Kerala to Malayali parents.His father is T.M.Ramakrishnan and his mother is Shantha Kumari.After two and half years of dating, he married television personality and singer Manju Haridas on 26 August 2007 at Calicut. After completing a course in cinematography at the Adyar Film Institute, Narain came into the film industry as an assistant to Rajeev Menon, one of India’s noted film makers and cameramen. He worked with him for many advertisements and also a film - Morning Raga. His first film, was Nizhalkuthu by the veteran director Adoor Gopalakrishnan. His first commercial film 4 The People, brought him recognition and fame as an actor. In this sensational blockbuster, Narain's performance as the firebrand IPS officer Rajan Mathew was well noticed. 4 The People was dubbed in Tamil and Telugu.
His film Pallikoodam was highly performance oriented, playing the character of a collector Vetrivel. The film was directed by Thangar Bachchan. His performance in the recently released film Anjaathe, directed by Mysskin, was critically acclaimed. He was nominated for the Filmfare Best Actor award for his performance in Anjathe (2008).
In 2009, Narain did a key role in Bhagyadevatha directed by Sathyan Anthikkad who had also gave him a success in Achuvinte Amma. The family oriented film starred Jayaram and Kanika- and Narain proved to be a star for this film. This was a box office success.
Narain essayed the role of Mohammed Abdul Rahiman in P. T. Kunju Muhammed's Veeraputhran (2011). He replaced Prithviraj as he suited the character better, according to the director.Currently doing as Villian in Mugamoodi.

Isha never gave acting in Bollywood too much priority, until she was spotted by Subhash Ghai who required someone with talented dancing skills to perform in his movie Kisna. He offered her a main role in the film opposite Vivek Oberoi. The film did not do well but her dance performances were appreciated. She was also the dancer opposite Hrithik Roshan in the Parle Hide & Seek commercial, performing a much appreciated dance duet with Hrithik. Gayatri Jayaraman is an Indian film actress, who has appeared in predominantly Tamil, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam language films.Gayatri Jayaraman was born on 27 September 1984 to Jayaraman, an auditor, and Chitra, a housewife. She was educated at Adarsh Vidyalaya and then Church Park in Mumbai. Gayatri grew up in Shahabad near Gulbarga till she was four years old before her family headed to Madras. She spent a year in Bangalore when in her eighth standard and this helped her pick up Kannada.

Gayatri initially wanted to pursue a career in medicine and despite getting 94 percent in board exams, she did not get a medical seat, and hence began reading a B.Sc in Life Science at IGNOU.Gayatri balanced her time between modeling and education and thus also went on to study physiotherapy at SRM College in Chennai. About her decision to simultaneously pursue qualifications she revealed that the average life of an actress on screen is maximum four years and that "she can always return to physiotherapy once my career as an actress is over.

She took up her first modelling assignments for Nailli Silks, followed by Kumaran Silks, Pothys and Chennai Silks while also participating in the beauty pageants, winning the Miss Tamil Nadu title in October, 1997 and Miss South India title in 1998. She entered the final stages of Femina Miss India 2000, after being selected among the 26 finalists from 8000 entries and made it through to the final 5, eventually finishing fourth. She has also been a video jockey on television, having appeared for Fanta Illimai Pudhumai on Sun TV and Telephone Manipol on Vijay TV.

Dinesh, better known as Attakathi Dinesh is a Tamil film actor, who has appeared in leading roles. He made his breakthrough playing the lead role in Attakathi (2012) portraying the role of Dinakaran.


After finishing his High school in Dhanalakshmi Higher Secondary school, Washermenpet, Chennai, After completing his graduate, he tried his luck in cine field from 2010. After playing minor roles in Aadukalam and Mouna Guru, Dinesh made a breakthrough appearing in Attakathi (2012). The film performed well commercially and also won positive reviews, with a critic from Rediff.com noting "he's an actor of great promise". Similarly a critic from Sify.com noted Dinesh "diverts your attention from the film's little flaws and spellbinds you with an endearing act that is Attakathi’s biggest strength", adding that "Dinesh has come out with easily one of this year's most confident and assured performances."


After cameo appearances in Ethir Neechal and Pannaiyarum Padminiyum, he was seen in a lead role again in Cuckoo produced by Fox Star Studios. His performance as a visually challenged man was praised by critics. Sify wrote "the film belongs to Dinesh, who has come out with a riveting performance" and called it "the best ever blind act since Kamal Haasan's Raja Paarvai. IANS too compared Dinesh to actor Kamal Haasan, stating "Dinesh is probably the next Kamal Haasan of the industry". Rediff wrote, "Dinesh has given a performance of the lifetime, his character is such a unique blend of vulnerability and defiance that every scene is worthy of praise" and The Times of India felt that he was "superbly natural as Tamizh".


Dinesh's future projects include Vaaraayo Vennilaave and Thirudan Police.

Soundarya Rajinikanth Ashwin (born 20 September 1984) is a film graphic designer, producer and director who primarily works in the Tamil film industry. Soundarya is the younger daughter of Rajinikanth and his wife Latha Rajinikanth.Her elder sister Aishwarya Rajinikanth Dhanush. Soundarya married Ashwin Ramkumar, an industrialist, on September 3, 2010. 

Soundarya began her career in films as a graphic designer for a number of films, especially in those starring her father Rajinikanth, in which she designed the title sequences. She became a noted film producer through Goa (2010). Soundarya is also the founder and chief executive of Ocher Picture Productions. In 2007, Ocher Studios signed an agreement with Warner Bros. Entertainment to partner up in producing and distributing Tamil films.Her directorial debut was supposed to be Sultan: The Warrior, a 3D animated film featuring her father Rajinikanth. The film however failed to take off. She is currently working as director on Kochadaiyaan, an upcoming motion capture film also starring Rajinikanth.

Chinmayi Sripada born (September 10, 1984) is an Indian playback singer, working mainly for the South Indian film industry. She is also a voice actor, and has worked as a television presenter and a Radio jockey as well. She is the founder and CEO of a translation services company called Blue Elephant.

Chinmayi comes from Musical family. Chinmayi's mother, T. Padmhasini, a singer and musicologist, taught her Carnatic music and Hindustani classical music. After her birth and early childhood in Mumbai, Chinmayi relocated to Chennai, where she attended the Children's Garden school until the age of 10. She was then enrolled at Hindu Senior Secondary School, Indira Nagar and went on to complete her school education through home study modules.

Chinmayi received the CCRT Scholarship for Young Talent for Carnatic Music from the Government of India at 10.She won the gold medal from All India Radio for Ghazals in 2000 and the Silver for Hindustani Classical Music in 2002. She learned German as a language in the Max Mueller Bhavan in Chennai and completed certification courses from NIIT and SSI in web design. During her school life, she held jobs with both Sify and studentconcepts.org. Chinmayi currently holds a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from the University of Madras.

Chinmayi is a polyglot; apart from Tamil and English, she speaks Telugu, Hindi and German fluently.She participated and won the singing competition of Sun TV, Saptasawarangal, following which she was introduced by Singer Srinivas to film composer A. R. Rahman. Chinmayi's playback singing career began with her performance of Rahman's "Oru Deivam Thanta Poove" for the film Kannathil Muthamittal. After a couple of years of singing exclusively for Tamil, Telugu, Tulu and Malayalam films, she made her Bollywood debut in Mangal Pandey: The Rising with the song "Holi Re". About a year later, she garnered more recognition with her performances of "Tere Bina" and "Mayya" in the movie Guru. In 2007, the song "Beda Beda" marked her first venture into Kannada playback singing. She has since received critical acclaim for songs such as "Oru Deivam Thantha Poove", Sahana", "Vaarayo Vaarayo", "Kilimanjaro", "Sara Sara" and "Asku Laska".

Anuya Bhagwat is an Indian model and film actress who has appeared in Tamil films. She is best known for her performances in Siva Manasula Sakthi and Madurai Sambavam.  After graduating from the Film and Television Institute, Pune, Anuya debuted in the Children's film Mahek, directed by Kranti Kanade. The film was premiered at the London Film Festival and was critically acclaimed. It was nominated in various categories including "Best Picture" at the WorldFest-Houston International Film Festival.  

She had her major breakthrough in her next film, Siva Manasula Sakthi (2009). Before the film's release, she narrowly escaped from a terror attack while she was staying at a hotel in Mumbai.  The film, directed by a debutant, took eight months to complete and was released to positive reviews.  Anuya next worked on a film titled Madurai Sambavam. The film was made on a small budget and is set against the backdrop of Madurai. A reviewer from Sify wrote, "Anuya, in a deglamorised role as the fiendish cop who falls for the rowdy is fantastic. She brings so much emotion and reality to her performance and is an actress of substance".

Anuya took a break from films to concentrate on dance during this period.  This helped her fetch a role in the film Nagaram opposite Sundar C.  After making a cameo appearance in S. Shankar's Nanban, she said that she will not be doing any such roles in future.  However, she followed it with a special appearance in a promotional song in Naan (2012) and an item number in Nanjupuram.

Anuya is making her Bengali debut in a film titled Gora, based on a novel of the same name by Rabindranath Tagore.  As of June 2012, she has completed shoot for the film.

She has also acted in Doordarshan TV series Ek Tha Rusty (2014), playing Maharani.
