Geetu actual name is Gayathri Mohandas. Affectionately called Geetu by her family, the name was adopted as her screen name when she starred in her first movie "Onnu Mudhal Poojyam Vare" in 1986 with Mohanlal in the lead role. 

Geetu was five years old then and captured the hearts of malayalam fimgoers as a fatherless child who discovers a father in an anonymous telephone caller. She also acted in the Tamil remake of Fazils "Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku" (Malayalam) with Baby Shalini in the title role and Geetu was in the Tamil version "En Bommukutty Ammavukku", which was a top grosser.

After attending primary classes in Chinmaya Vidyalaya, Geethu moved to Canada with her family. During her school days, she won many prizes for painting. Studied Acting at Toronto University.

Won the Kerala State Award for Best Child Artiste for her role in Onnu Muthal Poojaym Vare (1986), in which the wide-eyed five year-old girl stole the audiences' heart.

Tied with Kavya Madhavan for the Kerala State Film Award for Best Actress for her performances in Syamaprasad's Akale (2004), and Pradeep Nair's "Oridam".

On 14 November 2009, she married cinematographer Rajeev Ravi. The wedding took place in Kochi, in Kerala, India.

Vaikom Vijayalakshmi is a playback singer from Kerala, India.  She is an expert in a rare musical instrument called Gayatriveena. She won special jury mention for her much appreciated work in the movie Celluloid.  She was born blind in Vaikom on October 7, 1981 and later on moved to Chennai.

She was born on October 7, 1981, on Vijaydashami day. Living near the Udayanapuram temple in Vaikom, Vijayalakshmi is the only daughter of Muraleedharan and Vimala.Vijayalakshmi is engaged to marry musician Santhosh on 29 March 2017.

Career

She has voice but deprived of vision. It was only after her parents came to terms with her incurable blindness that they moved to Chennai. Here the young Viji grew up listening to Tamil movie songs by the likes of Ilayaraja and M S Viswanathan. She was spotted with the talent of catching a tune at the first hearing and reproducing it exactly in all its subtle nuances. Later, her parents bought classical music tapes of Yesudas, which Viji would listen to enthusiastically. In a matter of less than a year, she learned more than a 100 ragas and made her own compositions. Until then, she had no formal training in music.

Music discipline insists on training from a knowledgeable teacher. But her effortless raga alapana and swara delineation surprised the most discerning of Vidwans. Her arangetram was conducted at the Chathamkudi temple in Vaikom. In 1987 she met her `manasaguru' Yesudas, who was unabashed by the child's `jnanam' in identifying the most complex ragas and her mastery in rendering ragas like `Todi' and `Bhairavi'. The following year Viji held a performance at the prestigious Shanmukhananda Hall in Mumbai.

Viji, in the first 10 years, had performed at more than 400 stages in all the major `sabhas' in Chennai, Tanjore, Madurai, Coimbatore and other major cities of India. Meanwhile, another significant achievement was her mastery over a one-stringed instrument. The `gayatri tampuru', presented to her by a connoisseur, was electrified and modified by her father Muraleedharan. The kulapati of Carnatic violin Sri Kunnakudi Vaidyanathan was mesmerized by her veena recital and gave it the name `Gayatri Veena'. She has performed several concerts with the instrument. Since 1995, Viji has been playing it at the Chembai Sangeetotsavam at Guruvayoor. She played at the prestigious Soorya Festival in 2001.

As temple performances are hardly rewarding financially, Viji has had to sing and play film tunes to keep her going. Today she has a repertoire of almost 300 ragas and double the number of compositions. Viji loves listening to concerts of MS, Madurai Seshagopalan, Balamuralikrishna and Maharajapuram Santhanam. Her favourite ragams are Hindolam, Shubha Panthuvarali, Sivaranjini, and Madhyamavati. Of late Viji has turned to Hindustani.

Rekha Suresh is an Indian Actress, who is working in Tamil Film and Television industry. She was born on 27th September 1981 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Rekha made her acting debut in the Tamil film "Enthiran" along with Delhi Kumar. She also acted with well known actors like Jayaprakash, Ashok Selvan, Jai and Amit Bhargav.

Karunakaran is a Tamil film actor, who has appeared in character roles. He made his breakthrough playing a lead role in Soodhu Kavvum (2013) portraying the role of Arumai Pragasam, before playing roles in Jigarthanda and Yaamirukka Bayamey.

Karunakaran's father is a former RAW agent and he grew up in New Delhi, before later moving to Trichy with his parents, where he met short film maker and friend Nalan Kumarasamy. He initially made a career as chemical engineer, graduating from SASTRA University, and then as an IT professional at Accenture, before Nalan approached him to feature in a short film he was making for the reality television show, Naalaya Iyakkunar. Karunakaran had featured in such short film ventures at school and Nalan had cast him in Nenjuku Neethi, which went on to win the first place award that season. Sundar C gave him brief roles in two of his ventures, while he made his first breakthrough portraying Vijay Sethupathi's friend in Karthik Subbaraj's Pizza (2012), after which he left work and concentrated on a career in films.

Meghna Naidu is an Indian actress and dancer. Her first major appearance was in the music video for UMI10's "Kaliyon Ka Chaman" (2000), an official remix of Lata Mangeshkar's 1981 song "Thoda Resham Lagta Hai" (in turn, the 2002 song "Addictive" by Truth Hurts was inspired by the remix). She also featured in Saru Maini's video Dil De Diya Tha (Sutta Mix), before eventually working in Indian films.

Meghna Naidu was born on 19 September in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, India. Her father Ethiraj works for Air India and was a tennis coach and her mother Purnima, a half-Bengali, was a school teacher. She has one younger sister, Sona. She told that she requested her mother to quit her job and accompany her to shooting locations, after her sister who used to travel with her got a job abroad. She grew up in Mumbai, Maharashtra, and considers herself "more of a Mumbaiite". She studied at Bhavan's College, Andheri, Mumbai, and graduated with a B.Com degree. She has learnt classical bharatanatyam dance for seven years. She stated that she also was coaching tennis in the US for 4 years.

At age 18, she met a model co-ordinator at the wedding of her cousin in Chennai, who called her for a screen test for a feature film. She bagged a role in the Telugu film Prema Sakshi (1999), following which she appeared in one more Telugu and two Kannada films. She then appeared in UMI10's music video "Kaliyon Ka Chaman", directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru, which she says happened by accident. She was accompanying her friend to the audition for the video, when she was approached by the team. She was asked to send in her photographs and within few days, she was selected for the video. "Kaliyon Ka Chaman" became a grand success and gained her recognition. She subsequently went on to do many stage performances in and outside of India.

She made her Bollywood debut with the film Hawas (2004), which dealt with extramarital affair. It was followed by lead roles in Classic Dance of Love (2005), which featured her as a dancer, and Rain: The Terror Within... (2005), in which she played a blind author. In Mashooka, she essayed a character with negative shades.

She also participated in the television shows Fear Factor - Khatron Ke Khiladi and Dancing Queen (TV series).

She got engaged with actor, Kushal Punjabi in September 2009, though the couple parted ways in March 2010.

KP Naveen (born 10 September 1981) is a Music director and percussionist in the Telugu film industry. He plays rhythm pad in television shows and has performed in various live shows along with legendary singers. He is also a sound engineer and an actor. 

He has acted in the television soap Sri Sai Manasa Vasistyam, which was telecasted in a regional Telugu channel. From 2006 to 2015, he assisted popular Telugu music director MM. Srilekha, who is the only female music director in the Indian film industry and has her name in the limca book of records. He is the MUSIC DIRECTOR of a Hindi movie- Do Nawabs Hyderabad Kay.

Naveen is the second son of K Lingaiah and Balanarsamma, based in Dubbak of Telangana district. He later moved to Hyderabad and started his career as a rhythm pad player at the age of 18. He is the student of percussionist Sri. Nagarajan, popular as Nagi in Chennai film industry, and Sri. Madhusudan, also a percussionist in the Telugu film industry.

H. Vinoth is an Indian film writer and director who made his directorial debut with Sathuranga Vettai (2014) and his next venture Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru starring Karthi.Vinoth's debut was produced by actor, director Manobala and was distributed by Thirupathi Brothers Film Media and he worked with Ajith Kumar on Nerkonda Paarvai.

He worked as an assistant director to R. Parthiepan and Vijay Milton in Pachchak Kuthira, Goli Sodarespectively Sathuranga Vettai, his first movie in 2014, was very well received by the audience. 

The film was said to be a "con film". Vinoth stated, "My film is about the pace at which we all want to make money in our lives. It's about the anger of the common man who thinks money is the solution to all his problems. When there's an imbalance in nature, we experience tsunami and earthquake. Likewise, my story is about the imbalance in the social morals of a common man". Although it was a heist film, the director said that he had made the film "as funny as possible" and that it had been narrated , was signed on as director. The film subsequently began production in mid-October 2016.

In early 2016, Vinoth narrated a script to Karthi, who was very impressed and agreed to team up with Vinoth after his current commitments Kaashmora and Kaatru Veliyidai. The movie is titled as Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru and produced by S. R. Prakashbabu and S.R. Prabhu of Dream Warrior Pictures.

The story is based on true events from the Operation Bawaria, which involved the nefarious activity of dacoits and its eventual containment by Tamil Nadu police. Karthi and Rakul Preet Singh play the lead roles in this movie, while Abhimanyu Singh played the prime antagonist. Along with the Telugu dubbed version titled Khakee - The Power of Police, the film was released on 17 November 2017. A Hindi dubbed version titled Theeran was released on YouTube by Goldmines Telefilms on 24 June 2018. Karthi received Filmfare Critics Award for Best Actor – South and nominated Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Tamil.

Gauhar Khan (born Gauhar Zafar Khan), is an Indian model, VJ and actress who appears in Hindi films. She is the younger sister of actress Nigaar Khan. She is a current participant of the Indian reality show, Bigg Boss 7.

Khan made her screen debut in the 2003 Miss India: The Mystery, a box office flop. Her portrayal of a troubled model Esha, drew critical appreciation. She subsequently earned wide critical recognition in the 2009 Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, which was moderately successful at the Box Office. Gauhar Khan was born into a Muslim, Pashtun family in Pune, Maharashtra. She is the youngest of 5 siblings and the sister of actress Nigaar Khan. maha Gauhar khan started her acting career with the 2003 film Miss India: The Mystery, a drama revolving around the troubled model. The film didn't do well at the Box Office, however her acting was critically appreciated. She began 2011 with an item number "Nasha" in the 2004 Madhur Bhandarkar's film Aan: Men at Work, and "Naa Pere Kanchan Mala" in Telugu film Shankar Dada MBBS.

Khan rose to get fame with portraying the lead role opposite Ranbir Kapoor in the 2009 Yash Raj's Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year, a moderately successful at the box office.
