Rajyalakshmi (born 18 December 1964) is a South Indian film actress.She was a prominent lead actress during the 1980s in Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu films. She was well noted for her performance in the Telugu movie Sankarabharanam which she starred as the female lead alongside Chandra Mohan at the age of fifteen.

Since her success from Sankarabharanam, Rajyalakshmi has acted as a heroine with many prominent actors from all corners of the Indian film industry including Rajnikanth, Balakrishna, N.T.Rama Rao, Nageswara Rao, Shankar, Mohanlal, Dilip, Jitendra, Mamooty, Vishnuvardhan. Currently she is acting in Tamil serials with occasional appearances in game shows and frequent movies.

Rajyalakshmi was born in Tenali, Andhra Pradesh on 18 December 1964. When she was young, she and her mother acted in small plays in an acting troupe. When she was at the age of fifteen she was chosen to play the part as "Sarada" in Sankarabharanam. She was married in the year 1990 to Ramesh Krishnan and they have two children, Rohit Krishnan and Rahul Krishnan. She now resides in Chennai with her family.

Cheran is a Tamil film Actor and Director, who has a reputation for directing and producing culturally strong films. His movies are characterised by their realism and the strong social messages that they convey. He has won the National Award thrice, one for Vetri Kodi Kattu (which won Best Film of 2000 dealing with social issues) and one for Most Entertaining Film in 2004 (for Autograph) and one for "Thavamai Thavamirundhu" (2005) grabbed the national award for best film on Family Welfare. It`s told that Actress Meena is a lucky mascot for him as this movie has fetched him several renowned awards and at the same time it was a run away box office hit.

Cheran was born on 12th December, 1964 in madurai district, Tamil Nadu. He belongs to devar community. His father was a cinema (machine) operator and his mother was a nursery school teacher. Cheran nurtured his acting skills by the stage dramas enacted in those days during local festival seasons. He went on grooming himself and his dreams by undergoing self-designed rehearsals by himself standing in front of the mirror, speaking out the film dialogues of Sivaji Ganesan, which he carried out with the accompanying acting gestures.

He was worn out after he ran away from home to Chennai with dreams of becoming an actor. As his endless chasings after people and cinema studios for getting cinema chances proved to be failures, his hopes were shattered. At last, putting an end to his day-dreaming of becoming a film actor, he succeeded in turning his attention towards the other sides of film-making. He learnt the art of film direction under the mentorship of director K.S. Ravikumar.

Cheran began his career as an assistant to K.S. Ravikumar. The young man caught the attention of the film producer, Henry. Henry was the producer of the Malayalam film `Yavanika` directed by K.G. George. Consequent to the success of that movie,he made his entry into Tamil Cinema with `Kolangal`, a subject based on a girl rescued from the red light area in Mumbai who faces social problems back home in Chennai. Henry insisted that the film should not only be commercial but also have a strong social theme. 

Ashutosh Rana (Hindi: आशुतोष राणा; born Ashutosh Rana Ramnarayan Neekhra on 10 November 1964) is an Indian actor, working in Bollywood, as well Marathi, Kannada and Telugu film industries. He has also worked on television with shows such as Kaali – Ek Agnipariksha.


Rana is from Gadarwara dist.-Narsinghpur, Madhya Pradesh state. He spent his childhood in Gadarwara where he finished his primary school. He used to play the role of Ravana in the city Ramleela.
He went to the National School of Drama, New Delhi and studied acting.


Ashutosh Rana is married to Renuka Shahane, also a Bollywood actress. They have two sons Shouryaman and Satyendra. Ashutosh Rana has staunch faith in his Guru, whom he calls "Dadda Ji". It was Dadda Ji who suggested to Rana to take up the acting career. When Rana was about to enter the field of acting, Dadda ji told him to go to Bombay and meet Mahesh Bhatt and take any project which starts with the letter "S". When Rana got an offer of Swabhimaan from Mahesh Bhatt, he didn't wait for a second and grabbed the opportunity.


He started his career with the television serial Swabhimaan, followed by serials like, Farz, Sazish, Kabhi Kabhi, Waris and anchoring the TV show, Baazi Kiski.He also hosted Sarkaar Ki Duniya, a reality show. Currently, in 2010 he is working in a Star Plus show Kaali- Ek Agnipariksha, where he plays a negative role, Thakral.


He became known in Indian Cinema after his movie Dushman where he played a cold blooded murderer and psychopath killer. He is mostly given roles of antagonists in movies, particularly that of a killer. And in some movies he played supporting roles. He has acted in South Indian films, and is known as "Jeeva" in certain parts of the southern Indian Film Industry. He frequently appears in Mahesh Bhatt's films. He is playing the role of Alia Bhatt's father in Karan Johar's Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.


He has acted in many Kannada films. He has shared screen space with South Indian Super Star Dr.Vishnuvardhan, a star of 220 movies in five different languages. He acted in the Kannada film Vishnu Vijaya starring Akshay Kumar. He also acted with Dr.Vishnuvardhan in the 2005 released super hit film Vishnu Sena and the 2007 released movie Kshana Kshana that also starred Aditya and Prema.

Sudha Chandran is an accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer, Indian film and television actress, who turned to acting following the loss of a leg in an accident in May 1981 near Trichy, Tamil Nadu.

Sudha Chandran was born to Malayali parents in Irinjalakuda. She was born in Kerala on 21st September, 1964.  She earned her B.A from Mithibai College, Mumbai and subsequently an M.A in Economics. In 1981, while traveling from Mumbai to the South for a pilgrimage via the Scindia School in Tamil Nadu, she met with an accident in which she was wounded. The doctors missed a wound on her ankle and plastered the leg. After two weeks, Chandran returned to Madras for a checkup and doctors realized that the wound was now infected and a gangrene had formed and there was no alternative other than to amputate her leg. Chandran says that this period was the toughest time of her life. 

She subsequently overcame her disability with the help of a prosthetic 'Jaipur foot', becoming one of the most highly acclaimed dancers of the Indian subcontinent.

She received invitations from all over the world for performances. She was honored with various awards. She performed as far away from home as Europe, Canada and the Middle East. Soon after she catapulted to fame and recognition by venturing into the world of films and television. She gained fame after the tragic incident. Now she has become an inspiration to many.

The 1984 Telugu film Mayuri, in which she plays herself, was inspired by her lifetime story.  The 1986 film Nache Mayuri was a Hindi remake of the Telugu original. She came to be known as Mayuri girl after that.

Mayuri film so inspired and moral support for the people who affected and amputated by the Sri Lankan Army shelling and all the land mines in Sri Lanka in 80's.

Ramesh Aravind first started acting in the television program Parichaya in Kannada. 

His first film role was in Sundara Swapnagalu directed by K. Balachander in Kannada. Ramesh Aravind acquired many film roles in the Tamil film industry. 

His directorial debut in Kannada came with Rama Shama Bhama. Ramesh Aravind continued with other Tamil films before moving onto Telugu films.  After his stint in Tamil cinema, he came back to Kannada films in 90s with series of hits.  In the year 1997-98 was indeed a high point in his career. Ramesh’s films set a record of sorts.

He had six super-hit movies to his credit.  He was now firmly established as an actor to reckon with in the Kannada film industry. 

In Telugu, he did movies like Little Soldiers, Rudraveena, Sathi leelavathi, etc. In Tamil he made successful films like Keladi Kanmani, Duet and many others. With his brilliant performance in films like Anuraga Sangama, Ulta Palta, Tutta Mutta, Chandramukhi Pranasakhi, Gombe, Nammoora Mandara Hoove, America America, Hoomale, Deepavali and Sneha Loka he has been the favourite of Kannada moviegoers. He had nine 100 days films in a row, which is a record.

He is indeed one of the most natural actors on screen breathing life into any character he plays. This friendly actor has also written the story and screenplay for the film Hoomale, which got the National award for best Kannada film of that year. 

Films like America America (1995 film) Ulta Palta, Amrutha Varshini showcased the range of his acting abilities; he was at ease in both intense and comic roles. He scripted the national award winning film Hoomale, and thus paved the way for his foray into the field of direction.

Suresh, born Mysore Seshaiah Suresh Babu, is an Indian film actor known for his works predominantly in Tamil and Telugu films. The actor made his debut in the 1981 Tamil film, Panneer Pushpangal, before going on to becoming one of the leading actor in the Tamil film industry through the 1980s.As of 2012, the actor has appeared in 274 feature films.

Suresh was brought up in Chennai and was educated at oxford English High School before moving on to complete his education at Shrine vailankanni English School. He has got married to Rajashree Bishit and later got divorced. He has one son named Nikhil.

Suresh's father Gopinath was a renowned director who had done films including Raman Parasuraman and as his family was into films, Suresh's progression in to the industry was natural and initially tried to make it as an editing assistant and also as a dance assistant for some time.

A photographer friend of his dad's opined that Suresh could make it as a lead actor and with a portfolio, Suresh approached director C. V. Sridhar to feature in his films, but his effort went in vain. He then met director duo Santhana Bharathi and P. Vasu who decided to cast him their venture, Panneer Pushpangal, while simultaneously he was cast in the lead role in Bharathiraja's Alaigal Oivathillai presenting him with a dilemma of which film to choose.

He chose the former, but both films went on to becoming large commercial successes during the period. Till the 1990s, Suresh played the role of a lover boy in many films and at eventually opted against signing such roles and took time out from Tamil films. During the period he enhanced his career in Telugu cinema, while also producing four films and six television serials.

He made a comeback to Tamil films in 2006 after signing the Srikanth starrer Kizhakku Kadalkarai Salai and has since worked in other notable productions in supporting roles including Aasal alongside Ajith Kumar. In 2012, Suresh appeared in the Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Yeppadi directed by Balaji Mohan, playing the character of Akilan Venkatesan, who was going through a mid-life crisis. On his Twitter page, the an indu]] noting that he was "effective".

Suresh is currently hosting and is a judge in the competitive cooking game show "Kitchen Superstar".

Apart from acting, Suresh directed a Telugu film called "Bhavani" starring himself in lead role. He also worked as an dubbing artist by providing voices for Ajith Kumar in Aasai and for Nagarjuna in Ratchagan.

S. A. Rajkumar is an Indian film music director who hails from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He has composed music for many south Indian films in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada languages. Light-hearted melodies are often considered his forte. He has won 3 Filmfare Best Music Director Award (Telugu)for the Telugu films Pelli,Raja and one jury award for special mention films Telugu and Tamil languages.

Rajkumar was born on 23 August 1964 to Selvarajan and Kannammal in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The family ancestors belong to Paettai, Thirunelveli District. His father was a vocalist performing in stage shows conducted by popular music directors such as Ilayaraja, Gangai Amaren, Deva among others. Rajkumar had been a silent admirer of his father\\\'s musical career and developed an interest in music. It was his mother who discovered his flair for music and pursued his father to make him join music classes. Rajkumar underwent classical music training under the guidance of Subbaiah Bhagavathar for 3 years.

Mani Sharma Yanamandra is an ace music director known for his works in Telugu and Tamil films.He is popularly known as Swara Brahma (God of Melody) for his contributions to music in Tollywood

Mani Sharma started his career as a keyboard player in the late 1980s under the guidance of music director Sri Satyam. As a keyboard player, he toured with Padma Bhushan Dr. S.P.Balasubrahmanyam. He used to work with Murali Krish and Chakri Policherla under Maestro Ilaiyaraaja in Chennai.

Mani was also a keyboard player for RajKoti and M. M. Keeravani. He was approached by Ram Gopal Varma for the background score of Antham. Varma asked him to compose a single song for his film and he agreed. Then he continued to compose background music for other films like Raathri, Preminchukundam Raa etc. His first film as a fulltime music composer was Super Heroes. Later he got the breakthrough with Megastar Chiranjeevi's 1998 film Bavagaru Bagunnara, and he gained mainstream recognition after the audio became a superhit.

P. Unnikrishnan born 9 July 1964 is a Carnatic vocalist and a national award winning playback singer. Unnikrishnan was born to K. Radhakrishnan and Dr. Harini Radhakrishnan in Palakkad, Kerala.The family home, Kesari Kuteeram, was a well known landmark of Madras city, with great grandfather Dr KN Kesari being an eminent Ayurvedic physician and the promoter of the popular Telugu women's magazine Gruhalakshmi .


He went to Asan Memorial Senior Secondary School, Chennai, in 1983. He graduated from Ramakrishna Mission Vivekananda College, Chennai, and received his B.Com degree from the Madras University. He earned a General Law and Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations.

He worked as an executive in Parry s Confectionery Ltd. from 1987 to 1994 and quit his job to become a professional singer.

Unnikrishnan was initiated into Carnatic Music at age of 12 by Seshadri, Unnikrishnan. He was inspired by Sangita Kalanidhi Dr. S. Ramanathan. He attended a special workshop for six months on "Veena Dhanammal Bhani" under Sangeetha Kalanidhi T.Brinda and Sangeetha Kalanidhi Dr.T.Vishwa Nathan.

He is a national award winning playback singer for his debut film song "Ennavale Adi Ennavale". The song was composed by A. R. Rahman, with whom Unni Krishnan gave most of his memorable songs. He is one of the permanent judges in the reality television show AIRTEL Super Singer on Vijay TV in both the seasons (2006, 2008 & 2010-2011) and 2008 Idea Star Singer on Asianet.

Unnikrishnan is also becoming known for his experimental work. In 2008, he presented a novel jazz concert in Trivandrum with the Eli Yamin Jazz Quartet and pianist Anil Srinivasan.

He prefers singing classical songs to movies.“Carnatic music has grown to a great extent. The taste of the audience has changed with time. Youngsters have developed a taste for the music form and the number of people flocking to these concerts has increased by leaps and bounds. There is novelty in the genre.”

He is the recipient of many honours and Awards which include Kalaimamani from the Government of Tamilnadu, Best Raaga award from Music Academy, Yuvakala Bharati from Bharat Kalachar. He received the National Film Award for Best Male Playback Singer for his first song Ennavale in 1994 (Kadhalan) and also for the song Uyirum neeye from the movie pavithra . He was the first singer to get the Best Male singer National award for a Tamil song. Krishnan is also the recipient of Isai Peroli Award instituted by Kartik Fine Arts for the year 1998. He was awarded "Isai Peroli" "Yuva Kala Barathi" "Nada Bhushanam" and the title "KaLaimamani" by the Govt. of TamilNadu. Krishnan is an "A" grade artist of the All India Radio and has given a number of concerts all over India, U.S.A, The Middle East, The United Kingdom, The Far East, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

Suresh Chandra Menon is an Indian actor, cinematographer and film director. He is mainly notable for having directed and played the lead role in the Tamil film Pudhiya Mugam along with his then wife actress Revathi.
