Priya Bhavani Shankar (born 31 December 1989) is an Indian actress and television presenter who works in Tamil films. After entering the media industry she earned her Master of Business Administration.

Her first recognition was as a television news presenter at the Tamil news channel Puthiya Thalaimurai. She also worked as a serial actress in Star Vijay Television's Kalyanam Mudhal Kadhal Varai. In 2017, she made her film debut with Meyaadha Maan opposite Vaibhav Reddy, for which she was nominated for a SIIMA Award for Best Female Debutant.

In 1996, he began working as an assistant director to Sundar C. on his successful comedy films Ullathai Allitha and Mettukudi. In 1997, he continued to assist Sundar C. on Arunachalam starring Rajinikanth and he was the co-director of the film Janakiraman. Suraj directed his first film in 1998 Moovendhar which featured R. Sarathkumar and Devayani, the film was a critical and commercial failure. Then, Suraj returned to assist Sundar C. in his films. In 2006, he made his directorial comeback through Thalai Nagaram, remake of Malayalam film Abhimanyu, starring his mentor Sundar C., Jyothirmayi and Vadivelu. The film was released to average reviews and was a surprise hit. Prabhu Ganesan is a Tamil film actor and producer. He is the son of veteran actor Sivaji Ganesan. His son Vikram Prabhu is also a budding actor.

After making his debut in the film Sangili in 1982, he has acted in over 150 films. Prabha Ganesan has appeared alongside other actors like Rajinikanth, Kamal Hassan, and his father Sivaji Ganesan in many hit films. He received the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Actor in 1991 for his performance in Chinna Thambi. In 1996, he made his debut in Malayalam Cinema, and starred alongside superstar Mohanlal by portraying an extremist, Mukund, in Priyadarshan's magnum opus film, Kalapani.

In 2008 Prabhu acted in Kuselan, Silambattam and Ayan playing supporting roles in all films, and in Mani Ratnam's Raavanan, and Maanja Velu. When his colleagues refused to take up the role of Trisha's brother in Unakkum Enakkum, Prabhu took up the role. He appeared with Vishal in Thaamirabharani and Thambikku Indha Ooru with Bharath.

Prabha made his Telugu language debut in Orange where he acted alongside Ram Charan Tej. He acted in two Malayalam films—Pramaani and Best of Luck, followed by the Telugu film Darling. In 2011 Prabhu made his Kannada language debut through Boss with Darshan as the hero. Prabhu plays a cop in the film.Prabha has acted over 150 films in Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and English (Ele My Friend).
