Britto Michael debuted as a music director with the 2014 Tamil film Sarabham which was directed by Arun Mohan.

Krishna Kumar, better known by his stage name K, is an Indian composer, singer-songwriter and music director based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Primarily scoring music for films, newcomer K has worked on multiple short films, as well as several full length feature films in the Tamil film industry.



Born in Nagapattinam, Tamil Nadu, K moved to Chennai when he was four months old. He did his schooling at Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan in Chennai, where he took lessons in playing the keyboard. He quickly progressed and finished Grade 8 certificate exams in music with the Trinity College of Music, London.



His talent found an outlet when he joined his first rock band aged 12, and then played with a successful funk/rock and roll band ‘Panatella’ for several years after that. He moved to creating jingles for advertisements and corporate films, singing several songs for the same.



In the year 2010, K was brought on board for director Mysskin’s film Yuddham Sei. The film’s sound track was a hit. He then composed for Mysskin's Mugamoodi starring Jiiva. His next big career break came when famed cinematographer Rajeev Ravi roped him for his directorial venture in Malayalam, Annayum Rasoolum. The movie went on to become a cult favourite.



K is currently scoring the music for four Tamil films, 'Mahabalipuram', 49-O, 'Kaadu' and 'Kallapadam'.



He is also making his musical foray into Bollywood via the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film - 'Pizza', for which K will compose one song, the background score and main theme.



'Kallapadam', being directed by debutant Vadivelu, also happens to be the first film in which K will feature on-screen. He had formerly turned down a role in his first movie 'Yuddham Sei', but this time around has agreed to play one of the leads in the upcoming movie.


K won the award for 'Best Re-Recording' for Yuddham Sei at the 2013 BIG 92.7FM Tamil Melody Awards held in Chennai in September 2013.

Almost for the entire first half of the year 2016, K was working on the Dulquer Salmaan starrer Malayalam film Kammatipaadam, his second collaboration with Rajeev Ravi. The film opened to high critical acclaim with celebrated filmmaker Anurag Kashyap calling it one of the best gangster/brotherhood films from India. K's background score for the film too received tremendous praise, with a reviewer saying "Composer K’s music peps up these action sequences. With his adrenaline igniting music, he even manages to make the sight of bones cracking look cool. He is to Rajeev Ravi what Amit Trivedi and Sneha Khanwalker were to Anurag Kashyap in Gangs Of Wasseypur.

Sagarika Ghatge is best known as Preeti Sabharwal of 'Chak De India'. She is a daughter of veteran actor Vijayendra Ghatge. She was born on 8th January 1986 in a royal Maratha family of Kolhapur. She studied at Chhatrapati Shahu Vidyalaya School till 8th standard and later she shifted to Ajmer where she completed 10th and 12th standard studies. She soon shifted to Mumbai and did her graduation from HR college in Mumbai.

Sagarika learnt acting at Kishore Namit Kapoor's acting institute. She used to play hockey when she was in school and college. When she was studying in college, she used to get lots of offers for ad films. But her father refused to accept any till she complete her graduation.

Sagarika made her acting debut with 'Chak De India'. She portrayed the character of Preeti Sabharwal of the fictional Indian women's national hockey team. The film was a hit and Sagarika came into the limelight. She became a brand ambassador for Reebok India. She appeared on the cover pages of many fashion magazines and walked the ramp in many fashion shows as well. The leggy lass then appeared in the movie 'Fox' with Arjun Rampal in 2009.

Sagarika's next screen appearance was in 'Miley Naa Miley Hum'. For the first time she essayed a lead role in the film 'Rush' opposite Emraan Hashmi. The movie was released in 2012. She was seen in a Marathi movie 'Premachi Goshta' recently with ace actor Atul Kulkarni. Sagarika who has received the screen award for best supporting actress for 'Chak De India' has also received the Lions Gold Award. This girl from a majestic family wants to create her niche here, in the Hindi film industry.

Tarun Kumar Bhatti, better known as Tarun is an Indian film actor who primarily works in Telugu cinema. He has also worked in Tamil and Malayalam cinema.

He starred in acclaimed Romantic films like Nuvve Kavali, Priyamaina Neeku, Nuvvu leka nenu lenu, Nuvve Nuvve, Enakku 20 Unakku 18, Punnagai Desam, and Sasirekha Parinayam.

He is the elder son of Oriya actor Chakrapani Bhatti & Telugu actress Roja Ramani. He is an accomplished cricketer and participates in Celebrity Cricket League.

He started his acting career at the age of eight, under Usha Kiran Movies production. He won the National Film Award for Best Child Artist in 1991 for the Tamil film Anjali directed by Mani Ratnam.

In the same year, he acted in the Malayalam children's film, Abhayam. The film won the National Film Award for Best Children's Film and Tarun won the Best Child artist Award at the Japanese film festival. He won three Andhra Pradesh state Nandi Award for Best Child Actor.

His first film as a lead actor, Nuvve Kavali, went on to become Tollywood's biggest blockbuster of 2000 and won National Film Award for Best Feature Film in Telugu.

Harris Jayaraj (born 8 January 1975) is an Indian film composer. He has written scores and soundtracks for Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films.Harris Jayaraj hails from a pious Christian Nadar family from Tirunelveli and was born and brought up in Chennai. Harris studied at Krishnaswamy Matric School, K.K.Nagar. His father, S. M. Jayakumar, was a noted film guitarist and an assistant to Malayalam music director Shyam and later became a noted musician and film composer. At the age of six Harris began his formal training in carnatic music. His father wanted him to become a guitarist and made him learn classical guitar. Harris scored the highest mark in Asia on his 4th grade exam of Trinity College of Music, London. He has the privilege of being the first Indian to be the highest scorer in Asia.He started his music career as a guitarist in 1987 at the age of twelve. After befitting as an ample guitar player, he started playing keyboard and developed interest over synthesizers. He then started programming with his Roland MC-500 and went on to work as a programmer and musician under more than twenty five music directors in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Bengali and Oriya, working in more than 600 projects till the year 2000. He worked under noted composers including Raj-Koti, A. R. Rahman, Mani Sharma, Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, Vidyasagar. While working as an additional programmer under Rahman, he composed music for various television commercials including the famous Coca-Cola commercial featuring actor Vijay. In his early years, he admired music composers M. S. Viswanathan, percussionist Aruljothi Balagopal, A. R. Rahman and Hans Zimmer
Harris ventured into film scoring with Gautham Menon's Minnale. The album was well received, particularly the song Vaseegara turned out as a sensational hit. He received the Filmfare award for Best Music Director in his very first movie, breaking the 9 years continuous record of A. R. Rahman. The following Tamil movie albums 12B and Majunu met with high acclaim and praise. His Minnale score was later used in the Hindi version, titled Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein also directed by Gautham Menon. He then worked in the movie Lesa Lesa directed by Priyadarshan. For the first time in India the title song of the movie Lesa Lesa was released as a single prior to the album release date. Harris made his debut in Tollywood with Vasu, which received lots of appreciation and gained him lots of fans in Andhra Pradesh as well. With his back to back successful albums Samurai, Saamy and Kovil Harris emerged as a music director of reckoning in Kollywood. He received Filmfare Best Music Director, Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Music Director and ITFA Best Music Director Award for Kaakha Kaakha, starring Suriya and Jyothika. This film directed by Gautham Menon was a huge blockbuster and the songs met with great critical acclaim. Gautham Menon remade the movie as Gharshana in Telugu which had two new songs apart from the Tamil version to suit the taste of Telugu audience. The song Uyirin Uyire reused as Cheliya Cheliya in Telugu and Khwabon Khwabon in Hindi is considered as one of the biggest sensational hit of all time.

Anil Kumar has been active in the Malayalam Film Industry from 1989. He was instrumental in directing more than 31 films in Malayalam language. Anil together with Babu Narayanan under the name Anil-Babu directed more than 20 Malayalam movies. According to him “Director is responsible for overseeing creative aspects of a film under the overall control of the producer. Together with the producers, director develops a vision for a film. Once this vision is developed it is then the director’s job to carry out the vision and decide how the film should look” His involvement for turning the script into a sequence of shots and his decision on what tone it should have and what an audience should gain from the cinematic experience always seen in the final product. His close association with the Cinematographer and set designer from the beginning help to decide on the camera angles, lens effects and lighting effectively.He is also engaged in teaching “visual communication” course in various colleges in Kerala. He has also been honoured internationally in USA, Singapore and Muscat by various Malayalee Federations.

Devan (born 8 January 1952) is an Indian film actor and politician. He started his film career as the producer of the technically brilliant, but box-office flop movie Vellam and then opted to become an actor. Devan is known for his handling of serious roles, though he started his career with supporting roles. Devan was promoted as Hero in late 1980s with films like Oozham, Aaranyakam, Simon Peter, Ninakku Vendi and Oru Minnaminunginte Nurunguvettam, but most of those were failures. He is also the leader of the Kerala People's Party, a political party in the Indian state of Kerala. Devan has acted in many Malayalam, Tamil and Telugu movies. His notable movies like Ekalavyan, Baasha, and Indraprasdham are still very popular. He has also acted in TV serials.

B. Saroja Devi is an Indian actress. She has acted in Kannada, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi movies. She is referred to as "Abinaya Saraswathi" by Kannada film industry and as "Kannadathu Paingili" (meaning Kannada's Parrot) by Tamil Film Industry. She has acted in nearly 200 films in a period of more than three decades. Saroja Devi is one of the most successful female film stars in the history of Indian cinema and she was at her peak as the main female lead in films in the period 1958-85.Saroja Devi received Padma Bhushan, third highest civilian award, in 2002 and in 1969, she was honoured with the Padma Sri, the fourth-highest civilian honour, by the Government of India.

Saroja Devi was born in Karnataka on 7 January 1938 to Bhairappa and Rudramma. Her father worked for the police department. Saroja Devi was their fourth daughter. But this wasn't a happy occasion for her family, especially her grandfather, Mayanna Gowda. Bhairappa managed to overrule him and insist on raising the child. Her father asked her to learn dance and encouraged her to venture into films when film offers started coming to her. A young Saroja Devi was often chaperoned to studios by him. He frequently tied her salangais, and often massaged her swollen feet after her dancing stints.

Saroja Devi was first spotted by B.R. Krishnamurthy singing at a function at the age of 13. Initially, she declined his offer to act in movies. She debuted with the Kannada film Mahakavi Kalidasa in 1955

Saroja Devi's first big break came in the Honnappa Bhagavatar's Kannada film, Mahakavi Kalidasa, in 1955, for which she won a National Award. It was followed by B R Panthulu's Thanga Malai Ragasiyam, where her eyes enacted a magical drama, in a dance sequence.Her debut movie in Telugu was Panduranga Mahatyam (1957) in which she acted opposite N.T. Rama Rao.After this she came under the notice of the MGR for the very first time, on K Subramaniam's sets and MGR cast her in Nadodi Manan(1958).

People doubted her ability to speak Tamil, but MGR had faith in her and encouraged her to learn and speak Tamil and cast her in his home production Nadodi Mannan in 1958 as well.It was the Tamil film Nadodi Mannan opposite MGR in 1958 that catapulted Saroja Devi to superstar status in Tamil Film industry.After this she immediately received offer to make her Hindi debut opposite Dilip Kumar in Paigam(1959). She never allowed any one to dub for her and insisted that she would speak by herself as a result none of her Tamil movies her voice was dubbed by any other artiste since the beginning of her career.Then she gave hits opposite Gemini Ganesan in Manalane Mangayin Bhagyam, Kalyana Parisu, Ode Velaiyadu papa, Kairasi and opposite Sivaji Ganeshan in Baga Pirivinai,Vidi Velli,Palum Pazhamum, Iruvar Ullam(1958 till 1960).After this she started getting offers from Tamil,Kannada, and Telugu films. She was working more than 20 hours a day in this peak period of her career(1960–69). She became the number one female lead actress of the period 1959-69 in Tamil films.

She was cast always opposite the much high in demand stars of respective film industries :NTR, ANR in Telugu, MGR, Sivaji Ganeshan, Gemini Ganesan, S.S.Rajendran in Tamil and Rajkumar in Kannada.Saroja chose to do more films in Tamil in the period 1958-1969 and after her marriage she was more active in Kannada and Telugu films from (1970–1984).

Saroja Devi's energetic performance as a patriotic queen raging against the British in Kannada flick Kittooru Rani Chennamma, which won the national award for Best Film in 1963, brought her much acclaim. Her Telugu hits were Seetha Rama Kalyanam and Jagadeka Veeranukatha in 1961 with NTR, while her hits in Hindi films included Paigham (1959), Sasural (1960), Opera House (1961), Pareeksha, Pyar Kiya To Darna Kya(1963) and Beti Bete (1964) and in addition Kannada hits like Chintamani(1957), School Master(1958), Jagajyothi Basaveshwara (1959), Kitturu Chennamma (1962).It was at this time in 1962 that she was crowned "Chaturbhaasha Taare", because of her popularity in these four languages. She had mincing accent, smart and perky attitude and this made her popular among the audience of all the four languages.She concentrated more in Tamil films as a result though she had all her films as hits in Hindi, after Preet Na Jane Reet opposite Shammi Kapoor she did not do more Hindi films.Another leading Telugu actress Krishna Kumari had dubbed her voice in Panduranga Mahatyam for Saroja Devi in the initial part of her career in Telugu Films. But in subsequent years, without any external source of dubbing, Saroja Devi acted in her Telugu films.For her films in Hindi, Kannada and Tamil she always dubbed for herself since the beginning of her career.She did only film directed by K.Balachander named Thamarai Nenjam which was a box-office hit opposite Gemini Ganeshan.

MGR Saroja Devi established a popular on screen pair and had back to back superhits from 1958-1967.The pair who began with Naadodi Mannan, went on to give do 27 films together and of them 26 were hits. the most popular being Thirudathey, Thai Sollai Thattathey, Paasam,Thaayaikaatha Thanayan, Asai Mugam, Periya Idathu Penn, Dharmam Thalaikkakkum, Neethikku Pin Pasam, Pannakkara Kudumbam,Padakoti, Nadodi, Thalibahakiyam, Naan Anayittaal, Petralthaan Pillaiya and Parrakkum Pavai. Her best performances opposite MGR were the 'rich girl' roles in Anbe Vaa, Enga Veettu Pillai, En Kadamai, Pana Thottam and Thayin Madiyil.She made a fashion statement too as women adored her dressing sense and her saris and blouses, ornaments, hairstyles were copied by girls and women.
