Archana is an Indian film actress and accomplished Kuchipudi and Kathak dancer, known for her works in the South Indian film industry.She has won the National Film Award for Best Actress, twice for her work in Veedu in Tamil and Daasi in Telugu.

Archana was born in Delta region of Andhra Pradesh into a Telugu speaking family. She is a graduate in acting from the Tamil Nadu Institute of Film Technology. She made her acting debut with the Hindi film Yaadon Ki Baaraat (1973).

She then acted in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam language films, under directors such as B. Narsing Rao, Balu Mahendra, P. N. Menon, Shankar Nag and Vamsi.

Manoj - Gyan is a colloquial term used to refer to the duo of music directors Manoj Saran and Gyan Varma. In the 1980s, the two collaboratively composed music for a few Hindi-language as well as Tamil-language movies. Manoj hails from the state of Uttar Pradesh, while Gyan is from Punjab.

In the 1980s the duo ended up composing for movies like Oomai Vizhigal, Senthoora Poove and Inaindha Kaigal, and these movies had several hit songs.
In particular, the song "Tholvi Nilayena Ninaithal" sung by P B Srinivas in the movie Oomai Vizhigal became a runaway hit. The song went on to assume the role of an unofficial anthem of sorts for the LTTE in Sri Lanka.

The two split up around 1989. Following the split, Gyan Verma scored music for a couple of films on his own including Inaindha Kaigal and Sathya Vaakku. Manoj Saran also tried his hand at scoring in a film titled Panthaya Kuthiraigal, but the film wasn't released to the public.

Years later, Manoj built a recording theater and eventually returned as a producer-music director in 1998, assuming the name of Manoj Bhatnagar. He produced and also directed the music for two films "Endrendrum Kadhal" (starring Vijay) and "Good Luck" (starring Prashant). Both films didn't fare too well with the audiences.

Swathi is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Tamil films. She is probably best known for her performances in Deva and Vaanmathi.

After the success of Vaanmathi, Swathi returned to Hyderabad to complete her education and turned down film offers.

After a break, she returned to play a supporting role in Ameer's Yogi.

She was engaged to a Dubai-based entrepreneur, Srikanth, in 2008 but the wedding was later called off.Swathi later got married to a company director, Kiran on 2 December 2009 at Maruthi Gardens, Red Hills in Hyderabad and subsequently announced her retirement from films.

Raman Ashok Kumar, better known as Ashokan, is a filmmaker from Kerala, India. He mastered the skills in directing feature films during his seven-year tutelage with the renowned Indian film director Sasi Kumar.

S. P. Venkatesh is a music director and composer popular for his works in the Malayalam film industry.His father Pazhani was an accomplished Mandolin player.During his early days S.P.Venkatesh used to be adept at playing Guitar,Banjo and Mandolin.He was an assistant music director to Shyam and Raveendran Master during his early days.

S. P. Venkatesh was introduced into the Malayalam film industry by Dennis Joseph. The major break for S. P. Venkatesh came in the form of the film Rajavinte Makan, directed by Thampi Kannanthanam. The film and the songs in it turned out to be big hits. From then on he became an integral part of Thampi's ventures.

It was Thampi kannanthanam who exploited the musical talents of S.P.Venaktesh which resulted in a series of musical hit albums during the nineties. He soon became one of the top music directors of the early and mid-nineties. Indrajaalam, Kilukkam, Minnaram, Sphadikam, Dhruvam, Kauravar, No.20 Madras Mail, Manthrikam were among the influential film scores he created.

He made extensive use of acouttic guitar, bass guitar and violin orchestra in his song compositions and synth-based orchestra fused with traditional strings in his background scores. He was able to create an identity of his own through his compositions. He has also handled the orchestration for many other music directors.

In 1993 he won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Music Director for his work in Paithrukam and "Janam"
His ability to emotionally enhance scenes through background music was widely appreciated. He composed background scores for films for which songs were composed by other composers. These include films like Devasuram, Thenmavin Kombath etc.
He has also scored for some Bollywood and Bengali films.

S. R. Prabhakaran (Tamil: எஸ். ஆர். பிரபாகரன்) is an Indian film director primarily working in Tamil cinema. He is best known for directing his debut film Sundarapandian.He is the former associate of M. Sasikumar. Prabhakaran married Dhivya on 14 July 2013 in Madurai.

K. Natraj is an Indian film actor and film director primarily worked in Tamil-language.In film industry circle, he is popular as a close friend of actor Rajinikanth. His daughter, Rajini, married actor Vishnu in 2010.

Producer Azhagan Thamizhmani and writer Thooyavan saw a film called Touch of Love which had Elvis Presley in a guest appearance at a film festival, both got emotional while watching the film which prompted them to attempt a similar story in Tamil. Thooyavan finished screenplay within a month. He wanted to cast the late MGR as the hero but couldn't do so.Thooyavan narrated the story to K. Natraj who was working as one of the assistant directors in Devar films. K. Natraj agreed to work on the film and Rajini accepted to act in this film.

Rajini initially agreed to give callsheet of 6 days then extended for 10 days since he wanted the film to come out well. The film was entirely shot in a school with 300 students. Rajkumar Sethupathi, brother of actress Latha and husband of actress Sripriya did a small role as Ambika's husband. Meena appeared as one of the main characters.

On 3 August 1984 The Hindu said, "For one making his debut as director Natraj deserves accolades for the near-to-the-heart treatment of the situations in which the performance of a six-member-group of orphans will make even elder artistes sit up" and concluded, "Babu's camera embellishes the frames". Cinemalead wrote, "Anbulla Rajinikanth made Rajini seal children's heart forever, that was the impact of the movie. The story of a child's emotional bondage with a film actor and her fighting against cancer reached out to audience very well due to Rajini's reach and Meena's acting. The film also gives us some glimpse of Rajini's lifestyle and his real life character".

K. Natraj, Rajinikanth's friend from the film institute who earlier directed Anbulla Rajinikanth was approached by Rajini to take part as an assistant director in Annamalai to which Natraj gladly accepted.Then Rajini approached his friends and announced that he would like to make a film for them. The script of "Valli" was written by Rajini himself. Priyaraman made her debut as heroine while Hariraj and Sanjay were introduced in this film. Rajini was not interested to appear in cameo appearance but with insistence of his friends he accepted to do small role and finished his portions within five days.

Shooting was started in April 1993. This was also debut film of magician Alex as actor. The filming was held at Chalakudi, Pollachi and Red Hills. Hari, director of Saamy and Singam was one of the assistants in this film.

Easwari Rao is an Indian actress, who has worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industries, predominantly in the 1990s.

Easwari Rao's debut project was Raman Abdullah, directed by Balu Mahendra. Offers poured in for the actress though she became selective and notably opted out of a project title Koottaali, as she felt the role was too glamorous.

She went on to appear in Manoj Kumar's film, Gurupaarvai alongside Prakash Raj, Kushboo and Anju Aravind. Eeshwari also bagged a role in Bharathiraja's Siragugal Murivadhilai with Napoleon, although the film subsequently was shelved after pre-production.

In Appu (2000) Tamil film she portrayed as Prasanth Sister.Now she is doing in Telugu movies as mother.
Easwari Rao's sister, Manasa, also appeared in films such as Kaakai Chiraginile and Periyanna.

Devendran is an Indian music composer who is concentrating in Tamil language films. He is known for the melodious composition of chartbuster Kannukkul Nooru Nilava... from the Bharathiraja directed film Vedham Pudhithu released in the year 1987.

Born and brought up in Vadakarai, near Srivilliputhur, I took lessons in Carnatic and Hindustani music under Sivagiri, Seema Durai and Madhusoodhanan and in Western music under Thompson.

Going down the memory lane, he said, “I was working a music teacher at a school in Thiruvottiyur. With the support of principal Pushpam Amalraj, I was imparting music knowledge to students there when Sundararajan came to the school as the chief guest for a function.”

“Impressed by a song performed by the students, which was composed by me, the popular director announced at the function itself that I would be the music composer of his next project.”

“However, since the project could not take off as announced, producer Kovai Thambi gave me the opportunity to make my debut as a music composer with Mannukkul Vairam. For the film, I slightly changed the song which I composed for the school function and it was the hit number Pongiyadhey kadhal vellam…”

Throwing light on how he composed ‘Kannukkul nooru nilava…’, Devendran said, “I initially composed a fusion tune for the particular song in Vedham Pudhidhu and went for recording. However, Bharathiraja insisted me to rework on it. Since the time is too short, I modified it to a certain extent which was appreciated by the director. Thus born Kannukkul nooru nilava.

Thittam Poattu Thirudura Kootam  is an upcoming Indian Tamil heist action comedy film which has music composed by Ashwath.
