Full Biography of Music-director Anirudh Ravichander
Anirudh Ravichander (born 16 October 1990), better known as Anirudh, is an Indian film composer and singer in the Tamil film industry.
He made his debut as a Music Director for the Tamil film, 3 directed by Aishwarya Dhanush. He has been inspired by the music of A. R. Rahman. He is the nephew of Latha Rajinikanth.
The promotion song, "Why This Kolaveri Di", that Anirudh had composed for the Tamil film 3, went viral on YouTube and had tracked more than 50 million views.
Anirudh was born on the 16th of October 1990 in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He is the son of actor Ravi Raghavendra. His mother Lakshmi is a dancer. Anirudh was a part of a band in school called Zinx. As a kid, he knew composing music is all hed Circuit while in college.
He graduated from Loyola College, Chennai in 2011, which according to him was just a back up in case his music career did not take off. Anirudh learnt classical piano from Trinity College of Music, London. He also learnt Carnatic music, and was part of a Carnatic fusion band.
