Thupparivaalan is an upcoming Indian fantasy film written and directed by Mysskin. The film is produced by Vishal, who also stars in the lead role. Vinay Rai, Prasanna, Andrea Jeremiah, Anu Emmanuel and K. Bhagyaraj also play prominent roles. The project was launched in March 2016.
n late February 2016, Vishal announced that he would produce and act in a fantasy film to be directed by Mysskin. Vishal revealed that he would work on the project instead of Linguswamy's Sandakozhi 2 and that the shoot would begin in May 2016 after the completion of Marudhu (2016). The film was launched in mid-March 2016 with the title Thupparivaalan.
Rakul Preet Singh left the film after having schedule clashes with other films and was replaced by actress Anu Emmanuel. Likewise Akshara Haasan left the film and was replaced by Andrea Jeremiah due to date issues.
