Thamizhan Endru Sol is an upcoming Tamil action film directed by Arun Ponnambalam, starring Vijayakanth and Shanmuga Pandian in the leading roles. Featuring music composed by Hiphop Tamizha, the film began production during November 2015, and will be released during 2017.
In mid November 2015, a press release announced that Vijayakanth would be making a comeback to acting, after a four-year hiatus, and would feature in Arun Ponnambalam's Thamizhan Endru Sol alongside his son, Shanmugapandian.
The film was launched at RKV Studios in Chennai, with Vijayakanth revealing that his elder son, Vijay Prabhakar was insistent that he would act in the project, which would be "revolutionary for the Tamil language". The team began filming thereafter, with Hiphop Tamizha brought on board to compose the film's music. Hindi actress Zoya Afroz was reported to be a part of the film after the maker chose her over Disha Patani for a role.
