Storyline
Initially the film was set to feature Vishwa, brother of Ambika and Radha, in the lead role alongside Simran. However ultimately the change of cast led to Preetha Vijayakumar, daughter of veteran actor Vijayakumar, to make her debut in Tamil films.The producers initially had approached Sivakumar to play a role in the film, but his refusal saw Prakash Raj get the role. The film was made at a cost of 2.5 crore rupees.
