Storyline

After winning accolades for her performance as a chirpy young nurse in Engaeyum Eppothum, Anjali has once again been signed up by producer A R Murugadoss for the movie Vatthikuchi. Impressed with M Ghibran\'s score in Vaagai Sooda Vaa, both Murugadoss and Kinslin unanimously decided to have him on board for this film. Murugadoss has apparently zeroed in on the title \'Vathikuchi\' from the chartbuster number \'Vathikuchi pathikadhuda...\'

The film is set in Chennai and is about the people living in the outskirts of Chennai who travel for more than 30 km to reach Chennai and travel using the share autos. Dileepan plays a share auto driver and Anjali plays a tough girl, who travels using these share autos. She plays a middle class girl Meena who changes her name as Leena and roams around in the city malls and coffee shops, pretending as if leading a higher lifestyle than what she actually does. The film also sees Vatsan in a pivotal role.
