Vijay 61 is the working title of an upcoming Indian Tamil-language film directed by Atlee and written by K. V. Vijayendra Prasad. Produced by Sri Thenandal Films, the film stars Vijay, Samantha, Kajal Aggarwal and Nithya Menen in the lead roles, with S. J. Surya, Sathyaraj and Vadivelu amongst others in supporting roles.
A. R. Rahman is the film's music composer, while Ruben and debutant G. K. Vishnu are working on the project as editor and cinematographer respectively. The film began production in February 2017 and is expected to release in late 2017.
A launch event for the film was held at Adityaram Studios in Chennai on 1 February 2017, with production beginning thereafter. A few days after the shoot began, Jyothika opted out of the project and the makers signed Nithya Menen to replace her.
