Anandhi is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Telugu and Tamil language films. After winning critical acclaim for her debut in the Telugu film Bus Stop (2012), she has signed up for Tamil films including Vetrimaaran's production Poriyaalan and Prabhu Solomon's Kayal, in which she plays the titular character.

She made her debut with the Telugu film Maruthi Dasari's coming to age story Bus Stop (2012), winning critical acclaim for her performance of Seema, a flirt. Featuring alongside an ensemble cast including Prince, Kanna and fellow debut actress Sri Divya, the film opened in November 2012 to a positive critical and commercial response at the box office. A critic noted "she has magnetic looks and can be promising if planned her career properly", while another wrote she "totally rocks her character of a femme fatale with judgement issues and a good heart." Within two days of release of the film, she was offered the lead role opposite Varun Sandesh in his next venture Priyathama Neevachata Kushalama and began filming later in the year. The film released in March 2013 to negative reviews, though a critic claimed "the saving grace for the film is performance of the lead pair - Varun Sandesh and Hasika", adding that Hasika "looks traditional and has put up a decent show as well."

She will next be seen in Vijay Maddala's next directorial venture Green Signal, where she appears alongside newcomer Revanth. Hasika has also signed on to appear in the Tamil film, Poriyaalan alongside Harish Kalyan, which is written by Manimaran. During production, the scope of the film became larger after it was announced that director Vetrimaaran had chosen to invest in the venture as a co-producer. The actress then went on to sign another Tamil project, Prabhu Solomon's directorial venture Kayal, in which she plays the title role. The director decided to rechristen her as Anandhi for the film, and she was selected after auditioning twice before impressing Solomon.

Mahima Nambiar (born Gopika) is an Indian actress who has appeared mainly in Tamil films and Malayalam films

Mahima hails from Kasaragod, Kerala.  In 2014, Mahima was pursuing a BA in English Literature privately.  She is a trained classical dancer and a singer.

At age 15, she made her acting début in the Malayalam film Kaaryasthan, playing the role of Dileep's sister, with Mahima calling it a "blink and miss role".  She was working as an advertisement model, when director Samy tried to cast her for Sindhu Samaveli (2010) but she had to decline the offer for personal reasons. The production team later recommended her for Saattai (2012), which marked her Tamil film début. She was in class 12 when she acted in the film, in which she played the lead role of Arivazhagi, a village school girl.  After Saattai, she took a year's sabbatical to complete her school, and returned to acting with roles in four Tamil films.  Her next release was Ennamo Nadakkudhu (2014) in which she appeared as a nurse named Madhu.  Her future projects include Mosakutty, directed by Jeevan, Puravi 150cc, directed by Cheran’s associate Venkat, and Ahathinai, directed by Marudhu.  Further more she has been signed to play a dual role in Samuthirakani's Kitna.

Mrudula Murali Mangalasseri, credited as Mrudula Murali, is an Indian film actress, model, anchor and classical dancer.

Mrudula was born on 8 June to Muralidharan Nair, who is working as an engineer in F.A.C.T Kalamassery, and Latha Menon in Ernakulam, Kerala.[1] She completed her secondary education at Assisi Vidyaniketan Public School, Ernakulam. She has a Bachelor’s degree from St. Teresa's College, Ernakulam. She is currently pursuing her PG in Media studies at M.O.P. Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai. Her only brother Mithun Murali is also an actor who has acted as in National award winning film Vazhakku Enn 18/9.

Mrudula started as a child anchor in the program Dial & See telecast in Jeevan TV along with her brother Midhun Murali as co-anchor. She has acted numerous ad-films in Tamil and Malayalam and also shot for a Tamil film, the Ilaiyaraaja musical Kangalum Kavipaduthey in 2007,which did not get a theatrical release. She stepped into the film industry with the Malayalam film Red Chillies. She received critical acclaim for her role as Shenbagavalli in her debut Tamil film Nagaraja Cholan MA, MLA.

She had no theatrical releases in 2014 but appeared in a short comedy film titled Maniyara. Her upcoming Tamil film is Chikkikku Chikkikichu, a romantic comedy that unfolds during a train journey.[5][6] She has been signed as one of the female leads in the Malayalam films Enthoru Bhagyam, which will feature her as Heera Samson, a modern girl from Bangalore, who is "bubbly and lively", and Ayal Njanalla to be directed by actor Vineeth Kumar.

Simran Kaur (born Simran Kaur Bhalla on 29 May 1988) also known as Diya is an indian television actress. She made her television debut with Love Ne Mila Di Jodi on Star One; after she played in Colors TV's TV Show Na Aana Is Des Laado as Diya.

Simran's most recent role is in the Sony TV show Anamika as Anamika.

Ambani Shankar is an Indian stage and film actor, who has appeared in Tamil language films. He has appeared in films including Ji (2005) and Ambasamudram Ambani (2010), and garnered his stage name from the latter film.  Shankar grew up in Tirumangalam, Madurai and was inspired by the success of actor Vadivelu, which prompted him to move to Chennai to pursue acting in 2004.

Unable to get a breakthrough in films, he began working as a clerk at K. Bhagyaraj's office and was first spotted by N. Linguswamy to feature as a road-side cycle mechanic in Ji (2005).  He continued to feature in small comedic roles in films including Indiralohathil Na Azhagappan (2008) and Kuselan (2008).

Shankar made a breakthrough with his performance in Ambasamudram Ambani (2010), portraying a negative role alongside Karunas. Rediff.com praised his portrayal and stated "Shankar, has delivered an outstanding performance" and that "he laughs, cries, delivers and receives blows and bouquets with perfect style, transforming himself into the role very convincingly". Likewise, Sify.com labelled him as a "good performer", while Behindwoods.com noted that he "steals the show".  He subsequently added "Ambani" as a prefix to his stage name.

In 2013, Shankar featured in a commercial for Jos Alukkas alongside actor Vijay. In 2015, he featured in the Celebrity Badminton League alongside other Tamil language actors.

Rajesh Murugesan (born 14 May 1988) is an Indian music composer, best known for his compositions in Malayalam cinema, with films such as Neram and Premam.

Rajesh Murugesan from Nagercoil and hails from Thripunithura in Ernakulam district, Kerala. He completed his schooling at Cochin Refineries School, Ambalamugal and graduated with a Degree from SAE International College, Chennai in 2008.

Rajesh made his debut as a music director in Neram a Tamil - Malayalam bilingual film which was directed by Alphonse Putharen and released in 2013. The music won him immediate attention.

The promo song Pistah: The Run Anthem, had gone viral in 2013. The song Pistah also featured as IPL promo song for the year 2016. In 2015, he worked on another movie by Alphonse Putharen, Premam. All the songs in the movie received excellent critical response and the song,'Malare' broke the record for the fastest song in Malayalam to reach 5 lakh hits in YouTube.

Sherin Shringar, known by her stage name Sherin or Shirin is a model turned actress, who appears in Kannada, Telugu and Tamil films. She made her debut at the age of 16 with Darshan in 2002.


Sherin hails from the state of Karnataka. She was born in Bangalore as an only child to her parents. She did her schooling at Kaveri School Bangalore and later studied in Baldwins Girls Women Methodist College, which she later discontinued. She started modeling in her teen ages and she got the chance to act in her first film when she was only 14 years old in the Kannada film Dhruva. After that, she had offers to act in Hindi, Tamil and Malayalam movies. She shot to fame with her debut Tamil film Thulluvadho Ilamai. She also acted in Juniors, a Telugu remake of Thulluvadho Ilamai, but the film failed. Later, in 2005, she acted in the film Danger directed by Krishna Vamsi; though the film received accolades, Sherin went unrecognized. Incidentally, in both the films she starred with Allari Naresh. following which she starred in Student No. 1 where she played opposite debut Sibi Raj. She was critically acclaimed for her performance in the film Whistle. Sherin did full justice to the role, which had grey shades. She recently appeared in the hit Malayalam film Moonnamathoral, cor-starring with Jayaram, Jyothirmai and Vineeth. Sherin is starring together with Nanda for the film Urchagam. Sherin also starred in Poova Thalaiya, which released on the 29th of April, 2011.

Nithya Menen is an Indian film actress and playback singer from Bangalore, who works in the South Indian film industry.

Nithya Menen was born in Bangalore into a Malayali family and studied journalism at the Manipal Institute of Communication.

Her father's family is from Calicut and her mother's is from Palakkad. She once said in an interview that she never wished to become an actress but a journalist as she was "an idealist", but felt journalism was "not what it used to be".  She then decided to become a filmmaker as she could express her ideas "better through films", and enrolled for a course in cinematography at the FTI Pune. During the entrance examination, she met Nandini Reddy, who "brainwashed" and convinced her to take up acting.  Nandini Reddy would later turn director and sign Nithya for the lead female role in her first project.

Nithya Menen appeared first on screen as a child artist when she was ten in the Indian English language film, The Monkey Who Knew Too Much (1998), playing the younger sister to Tabu's character.  The 2008 off-beat film Aakasha Gopuram, directed by National Film Award-winning director K. P. Kumaran, marked her debut in a leading role, in which she was paired with Mohanlal. She was in the midst of her 12th class exams when she was offered the role, after Mohanlal had spotted her on the front cover of a tourism magazine.

Her performance was well received, with critics writing that she shows "sparkle in her debut venture" and "makes her entry in an impressive role", though the film, based on the Norwegian play The Master Builder, got mixed reviews and was a financial failure.  She next made her Kannada debut with the film Josh. She essayed a supporting role in the film, which received rave reviews, and became a commercial success as well, with her performance garnering her a nomination in the Best Supporting Actress category at the 57th Filmfare Awards South.

In 2011, her first release was Nandini Reddy's romantic comedy Ala Modalaindi, which was Nithya's maiden Telugu venture as well.  The film opened to favorable reviews by critics and turned out to become a sleeper hit, while Nithya received critical praise for her performance. Idlebrain's Jeevi in his review cited that she "epitomized Nitya character with her fabulous performance", "looks beautiful in all kinds of dresses" and was "the best debut in recent years of Telugu cinema after Samantha in YMC", while another critic wrote that she was a "charming find" and "...quite the Genelia replacement that our cinema so badly needs right now." She eventually won the Nandi Award for Best Actress for her performance.

Further more, she also sang two songs for the soundtrack album of the film, tuned by Kalyani Malik.  Nandini Reddy, later, went on to describe Nithya as "the discovery of the decade".  Following Ala Modalaindi, she starred in Santosh Sivan's historical fiction Urumi as part of an ensemble cast.

She portrayed a Chirakkal princess named Bala, playing the love interest of Prabhu Deva's character, which gained positive remarks, with a Sify review claiming that she "looks pretty and is a scene stealer".  Nithya quoted that much of her character was based on "Santosh's perception of who I am", with Sivan stating that he had written that role for her and that only she could play it.  She next appeared in ad-filmmaker Jayendra's bilingual venture 180/Nootrenbadhu, made and released in Tamil and Telugu, in which she played a photo journalist named Vidhya.  She described the character as "bubbly, full of life, nosey, wide-eyed and innocent in life" and to be similar to herself.  Later the year, she was seen in Sibi Malayil's Violin in Malayalam and the Gautham Menon-produced Veppam in Tamil.

Her first 2012 release was the Telugu romance film Ishq with Nitin Reddy. She acted in Karmayogi, a Malayalam adaptation of Shakespeare's Hamlet. For the Kannada film Aidondla Aidu she had sung and also choreographed one of the songs, titled "Payasa".  She was seen in two Malayalam projects, T. K. Rajeev Kumar's Thalsamayam Oru Penkutty, in which she portrayed a village woman whose daily life is filmed and broadcast as a reality show for a month, and Ustad Hotel directed by Anwar Rasheed.

In 2013, she starred in three Telugu films, Okkadine, Jabardasth and Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde. She played a character with two shades in Gunde Jaari Gallanthayyinde and she dubbed for her as well as for the character of her co-star Isha Talwar.  She also signed a film of director Cheran in which she is going to pair up with Sharwanand.

Parvathy Thiruvoth Kottuvata (born 7 April 1988), known mononymously as Parvathy, is an Indian film actress from Kozhikode, Kerala, who appears in South Indian films. She made her debut in the Malayalam film Out of Syllabus in 2006.


Parvathy was born in Kozhikode, Kerala, to P Vinod Kumar and T K Usha Kumari, both Lawyers. She has a brother, Karunakaran. Her initials come from her mother's family name, Thiruvoth Kottuvata. During her schooling years, her family moved to Thiruvananthapuram and she pursued her studies there. She finished her schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Pangode. She is a Bharatanatyam dancer. After finishing her B.A. in English Literature from All Saints' College at Trivandrum, Kerala, she is currently pursuing her M.A. through distance education. She was a successful television anchor at Kiran TV, a full-time music channel based in Thiruvananthapuram.
