Suchitra Karthik Kumar (born 14 April 1979) is an Indian Tamil Radio Jockey and Tamil, Malayalam and Telugu playback singer.

Born and brought up in Chennai, She is a graduate from Mar Ivanios College (Trivandrum). Later on she moved to Coimbatore for her MBA (PSG Institute of Management) . She was then engaged with Sify for a while. This is when she responded to an ad for the post of an RJ in Radio Mirchi.

She became known as Rj Suchi, with her popular morning show Hello Chennai. Her distinct and bold voice made her very popular with the younger crowd. She still does a radio show called Flight983 on Radio Mirchi, on Sunday evenings (7-9 pm). The show deals with interesting international happenings.

She started singing after a few years as RJ. She also worked as a dubbing artist for popular heroines like Shriya.

Her career as a playback singer now spans Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam films and she has several hits in all these languages to her credit. Suchitra is a sought-after performer at Corporate and other such stage shows. She has also been appreciated for her honest and positive-humour-filled judging at Reality Shows like Vijay TV's Airtel Super Singer, Sun TV's Sun Singer, Asianet's Music India, and Bol Baby Bol on Gemini TV and Surya TV. 'Music I Like', an album of Suchitra's renditions of Mahakavi Bharatiyaar's poetry, set to contemporary tunes and music, released by Universal Music, was a turning point in her career.

Suchitra is now a singer/songwriter as well, composing music on her own and in collaboration with Singer Ranjith. Their YouTube channel 'Suchi and Ranjith' has all their updated work. 

A series of controversial tweets, photos and videos were posted on the Twitter account of singer and RJ Suchitra Karthik Kumar on Friday night and Saturday morning (March 3 & 4th, 2017), following which the account was deactivated in the afternoon. A complaint was lodged on her behalf with the Cyber Cell of the Central Crime Branch. Sources say that after perusing the complaint, Twitter will be requested to delete or block the content which was posted on her micro-blogging page.

The tweets had grabbed considerable attention and featured private photos of celebrities from the Tamil film industry, some of them in intimate situations, as well as alleged leaked email exchanges.

A few photos and videos which were pornographic in nature were accompanied by tweets stating that it was to expose the state of the film industry. 

Juhi Babbar (born 20 July, 1979) is an Indian film and television actress. She is also contributing to theatres both as actor and director.

Personal life

Juhi is daughter of actor Raj Babbar and theatre personality Nadira Babbar. She has one full brother, Arya Babbar, who is also an actor, and one half-brother, the actor Prateik Babbar, who is the son of Raj Babbar by his second wife Smita Patil. Through her mother Nadira Babbar (born Nadira Zaheer), Juhi is the granddaughter of the communist activist Sajjad Zaheer and first cousin of Pankhuri Zaheer, an activist working at JNU as a close associate of Kanhaiya Kumar, who was arrested and charged with sedition in February 2016.

Juhi's first husband was Bejoy Nambiar, a screenplay writer, whom she married on 27 June 2007, after a two-year courtship.  The couple divorced in January 2009.  She then fell in love with the TV actor Anup Soni, whom she met while both of them were working in a play produced by Juhi's mother Nadira Babbar. Soni was at that time married to Ritu and was the father of two daughters by her. On 14 March 2011, after his divorce was finalized, Juhi and Anup Soni were married in a quiet ceremony attended by family and close friends only. Juhi and Soni now have a son named Imaan, born in October 2012.

Career

Juhi made her film debut in Kash Aap Hamare Hote opposite Sonu Nigam.  In 2005, she did a Punjabi film with Jimmy Shergill, Yaara Naal Baharan. The film did well in Punjab and with the overseas Punjabi audience. Juhi then did a silent film with Malayalam actor Mohanlal. In 2006, she was seen in the film Uns with actor Sanjay Kapoor and Rituparna Sengupta.  She will appear in the upcoming film It's My Life as Sonia Jaisingh opposite actors Harman Baweja, Genelia D'Souza and Nana Patekar. In 2009, Juhi played the role of a house wife in the TV comedy Ghar Ki Baat Hai produced by Shah Rukh Khan.

Malavika is the stage name of Shweta Konnur (born 19 July 1979), in Bangalore, an Indian actress. She started out as a model for Fair and Lovely and became an actress in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films.

Malavika made her acting debut in the 1999 Tamil movie Unnai Thedi, directed by Sundar C. which she followed with Anandha Poongatre, and Rojavanam. She acted in the Tollywood film Priya Nestama . She appeared in Perazhagan in a song. In 2004, she had starred in Vasool Raja MBBS and later in that year she acted in the Bollywood film C U at 9.Since then she has performed in Chandramukhi.

Malavika got married to Malayalam films worker Sumesh Menon in 2007 after their 2 years love.

Arunraja Kamaraj (Tamil: அருண்ராஜா காமராஜ்) is a singer, lyricist, actor and director. He is known for his works as lyricist in films such as Theri, Pencil, Kabali and Jigarthanda.  He also debuted as an actor in Raja Rani and appeared as Nerrupu kumar in the film Maan Karate.  He has written and sung the song Ding Dong for the movie Jigarthanda, which was critically acclaimed. He has also written and sung the song Neruppu da in Rajinikanth's film Kabali.  His other notable works includes movies such as Demonte Colony,Trisha Ilana Nayanthara,  Pizza and Darling as Lyricist and Singer . He has also sang a song in Oru Mexican aparatha (malayalam) title track Kalippu katta kalippu

Early life

Arunraja Kamaraj was born in Perur near kulithalai town in Tamil Nadu. Studied schoolings, Government Boys higher secondary school,Kulithalai and higher secondary schoolings Bishop Heber Higher secondary School,Trichy. He graduated from J. J. College of Engineering and Technology, Trichy.

Sona Heiden is an Indian film actress. She was Miss South India in 2002. She became famous for her best item songs in Kollywood movies. She has appeared in the Tamil film, Kuselan in 2008.  Recently she launched a fashion store - Uniq - in Chennai, with Shilpa Shetty gracing the launch.

Sona Heiden was born on 13 June 1979 in Chennai,Tamil Nadu,India.  Her father is an Anglo Indian (French origin)and her mother is a Tamil.

Tottempudi Gopichand born 12 June 1979, more popularly known as Gopichand, is a Telugu film actor. He is the younger son of the filmmaker T. Krishna and started his career with Tholi Valapu as the main lead. He was 8 years old when his father T. Krishna died. He completed his studies in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. He studied engineering degree in Russia. He was not interested in films and acting at that time.


His elder brother T. Premchand was working as an associate director to Mutyala Subbayya. Premchand made his debut as director and started working on a film under his home banner, but he died in a car accident. Gopichand was in Russia during the death of his brother and could not attend his funeral due to Visa problems. He also has a sister, who is a dentist.


He decided to enter the film industry. After completing his engineering, he did dialogue modulation course for a year. Then he made his debut as hero with the Telugu movie Tholi Valapu.


He was cast as a hero in his first movie Tholi Valapu, which was a disaster at box office. His next movie Jayam gave him success at box office, but this time as a villain. The movie was remade with same title in Tamil with Jayam Ravi as hero. Later on he acted as a villain in movies Nijam and Varsham.



He made a re-entry as hero with the movie Yagnam. This became a box office success which created hype for his capabilities as future hero for the masses.After doing villain roles in Jayam (2002), Jayam (2003), Nijam and Varsham, he got the lead role in Yagnam. He was noted for his best performance in Ranam in 2006 & Lakshyam in 2007. His next film, Souryam, was released in September 2008.


The next year, he acted only in one film, Sankham, which released on 11 September 2009. His next film, Golimar, was released on 27 May 2010. In 2011, he did Mogudu, which paired him up with Taapsee Pannu. His latest release is "Saahasam (film)" in 2013, again with Taapsee, it become one of the most successful ventures of 2013. He married Reshma, niece of actor Meka Srikanth on 12 May 2013.

Vir Das is an Indian Bollywood actor and comedian.

Vir Das was born in Dehradun and has lived in Africa and studied in Indian Language School in Lagos, Nigeria, Shimla and Delhi. He obtained a Bachelor's degree from Knox College, Illinois in Economics & Theatre with a concentration in performance. Vir is also a brother of Knox's Delta Theta chapter of Sigma Nu fraternity. After graduating from Knox, Vir was accepted into the Stanislavsky Program of Moscow Arts Theatre.

He married his girlfriend of six years, Shivani Mathur in October, 2014.

t was at Knox that Vir first explored stand-up comedy with his first (1-1/2 hour) special, Brown Men Can't Hump, which debuted in Knox's Harbach Theatre. He received a Richter Scholarship for Theatre and later went on to win the Colton Performance Award for Outstanding Achievement in Acting from Knox. He was a teaching assistant for Beginning Acting at Knox. At Harvard, Vir trained as a method actor for six months and performed eight plays with the Moscow Arts Theatre.

He performed at the Habitat Center, New Delhi on a visit to India. While in the USA, Vir was a cast member in three sketch comedy troupes: The Really Useless Improv, Improv Inc, and Illegal Aliens. He performed, wrote and developed 'Whose Line is it Anyway?' style comedy sketches with them. He has performed as a ship comedian aboard Carnival Cruise Line between Houston and Mexico. Furthermore, he spent time working comedy clubs in Chicago.

Vir returned to India in April 2003 and since then has performed over 100 comedy shows in all the major cities. He has debuted six (1.5 hour) comedy specials written, directed by and starring him at the India Habitat center to audiences of over 900 a night. These include Brown Men Can't Hump, Not for Members Only, Bored of The Things!, Who Let the Das Out?, Son of a Switch! and VIRagra. Every one of these shows has sold out within a matter of days.

Vir started his career on TV when he hosted two TV shows on Zoom Channel. The first one was Is Route Ki Sabhin Linein Maast Hain where he was an agony uncle. The second was his own stand-up comedy late night show Ek Rahin Vir. Although early for their time, they got noticed and put Vir on the comedic map in India. Vir has also hosted Top Drive getaway for Star World.
Vir's comedy can be viewed on TV in many genres of entertainment. He hosted Cricket Firsts, a sports comedy show on Zee Sports (now TEN Action+). He did improvisational comedy on SAB TV's Lo Kar Lo Baat. He was an addition to the cast of The Great Indian Comedy Show on STAR One. He can be seen anchoring Now Not Showing on CNN-IBN.

Most importantly, Vir is the host of News on the Loose, his own news comedy show on CNBC-TV18. The show is a huge hit amongst Indian audiences for its fearless brand of intelligent comedy. News on the Loose was recently given its own weekly half-hour special News On The Loose — Weekend on CNBC-TV18, which went on to become a hit.

Vir was cast as the comic relief by winning one of the principal characters in The Curse of King Tut's Tomb, a Hallmark mini-series filmed in India. He began filming for his first two Bollywood roles in early 2006. He can be seen in Vipul Shah's hit movie Namastey London.

The Indian Express has called him 'a comedian to watch out for' and 'India's Answer to Jay Leno'. The Hindustan Times calls him 'simply hysterical'. Delhi Times has listed him as one of Delhi's Top Ten Dream Men. The Pioneer has called him 'The Funniest Kid in India'. Verve has called him 'India's only true comic'.

Vir has approximately 35 plays, over 100 stand-up comedy shows, 8 TV shows, 2 movies and 6 comedy specials behind him. He is writing comedic columns for Femina, Maxim, Exotica, DNA and Tehelka.

Vir Das currently is also working with Ashvin Gidwani Productions-AGP in plays like Walking on Broken Das, Battle of Da Sexes and History of India: VIRitten. Walking on Broken Das, History of India: VIRitten and Battle of Da Sexes is written, directed and performed by Vir Das.

Gopi Sunder is a National Award winning Indian musician, film score composer, programmer and singer. He has composed music for more than 5000 advertisements, programmed music for many major composers and composed the music for nearly 50 Indian films to date.

He has composed the background score and songs for films like Flash (2007), Sagar Alias Jacky Reloaded (2009), Anwar (2010), Ustad Hotel (2012), 1983 (2014). He has also done the background score for Notebook (2006), Big B (2007), Mission 90 Days (2007), Poi Solla Porom (2008), Evidam Swargamanu (2009), 1983 (2014), Bangalore Days (2014).

He got his first Filmfare Award for Best Music Director in the 58th Filmfare Awards South for Anwar (2010).

Vikram K. Kumar is an Indian film director who has worked on Telugu, Tamil, and Bollywood films.In 15 years, he has made only six films.

Kumar graduated from Madras Christian College in Chennai. In April 1997 he joined director Priyadarshan, working on the Malayalam film Chandralekha as assistant director. He also worked under Priyadarshan in Doli Saja Ke Rakhna and Hera Pheri. In 1998, he directed his debut non-feature film, Silent Scream, for which he won the National Film Award for Best Educational/Motivational/Instructional Film.

He made his debut in Tollywood with Ishtam, which introduced Shriya Saran in 2001. The film did badly at the Box Office, as a result of which Kumar went to Chennai and he made Alai (film) with Simbu and Trisha which also flopped.. He then directed 13B, a psychological horror film which starred R. Madhavan which was a hit in both Hindi and Tamil.

After the success of Yavarum Nalam, he considered making a sequel to the film with Madhavan, while he also announced a separate project titled Athirshtasaali with the actor, though neither of the projects materialised.

Then it took almost two years to complete Ishq, which was a blockbuster for Nithiin. In 2014, he directed Manam, for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Director - Telugu. In 2016, he directed science fiction thriller 24, which was received huge critical acclaim and a major box-office success.

Harini is an Indian film playback singer and classical singer, who sings mainly in Tamil films. She has also sung in Hindi, Malayalam, Telugu and Kannada language films, whilst working with many leading film composers. She is married to another playback singer, Tippu.


Harini learnt Carnatic music from Gowri and Radha Viswanathan from the age of four. In her later years, she learned from Sudha Raghunathan and currently from Suguna Purushotthaman. She used to participate in school competitions and in one such competition which she won, A. R. Rahman who distributed the prizes invited the winners to his studio to record their voices. 


Subsequently, she was called by Suhasini Maniratnam to sing "Nila Kaigirathu" for her first film Indira.Her very first song, "Nila Kaigirathu", was recorded at the age of 13.Since then, she has received offers from various music directors across South India. Within a career spanning for a decade, she sang over 2000 film songs and several album songs, most of them in Tamil. 


She is also credited for her good memory skills for not having any reference while singing in her stage shows. She claims to have known all her songs by heart at any point in time.
