Crazy Mohan is a popular Tamil comedy actor, script writer and playwright.
He was a student at the College of Engineering, Guindy, where he graduated as a Mechanical Engineer in 1973. He wrote his first drama at College of Engineering, Guindy, when he was in the 4th year in 1972. His guide was his classmate S. Ravi, who was the President of Tamil Manram. He founded the popular drama troupe `Crazy Troupe` in 1973 and was its leader and president. Under Mohan, the Crazy Troupe performed over 200 plays across Tamil Nadu, most of the themes involving satire and witty dialogue. The troupe`s name changed in 1976 to `Crazy Creations` and in 1982 to `Crazy Dreams`. In 1988, Mohan founded the prominent production company `Crazy Productions`.
