Poornitha (born: Kalyani) is a South Indian actress.

She started acting as a child in a number of television series and rose to fame with her first major role in Alli Thandha Vaanam, a film of the Tamil cinema.  She later starred many films as a child artist and went on to appear as Raadhika Sarathkumar's Teenage Daughter Surya in Sun TV's Annamalai.

She changed her name as "Poornitha" and acted in Marandhen Meimarandhen which was her first full fledged heroine, then Prathi Gnayiru 9.30 to 10.00 and went on to act in Malayalam and Telugu films as well.

She was also the anchor of Vijay TV Super Mom.  After entering Vijay TV, she has changed her name to her original name "Kalyani".

She is currently acting in a television series called Pirivom Santhipom & Pirivom Santhipom Season 2 on Vijay TV.  She also is the anchor of Super Singer Junior on vijay TV and Beaach Girls on Raj TV.

Chimbudeven (formerly Simbudevan) is a Tamil film director. He debuted in film directing with the blockbuster comedy film Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi, with Vadivelu in the lead role.
He was born in Madurai.He completed his school studies in St. Britto Higher Secondary School & Sourashtra Boys Higher Secondary School. He done his B.Sc(Botany) in Thiagarajar Arts & Science College.

Chimbu started his film career as an assistant director to filmmaker Cheran.He assisted Cheran for Vetri Kodi Kattu. His first independent direction opportunity came across from S Pictures. When the story was narrated to director S. Shankar, he liked it so much and immediately proceeded with the film Imsai Arasan 23rd Pulikesi (Torture king 23rd pulikesi).
His second film was also for S Pictures, the "fantasy comedy" film Arai En 305-il Kadavul (God in room no.305) which had Santhanam and Ganja Karuppu in the lead . His third movie , a cowboy genre , Irumbukkottai Murattu Singam, had Raghava Lawrence playing the lead along with Padmapriya. His last work was the recently released Oru Kanniyum Moonu Kalavaanikalum with Arulnidhi.He is directing the Fantasy film with Illayathalapathy Vijay in the lead role referred as Vijay 58[2] alongside an ensemble cast including Shruti Haasan,Hansika Motwani,Sridevi and Sudeep.The Movie is jointly Produced by PT SelvaKumar and Shibu of Thameens films under the banner SKT Studios.
