Sana Saeed is an Indian actress, born on 22nd September 1988 in Leeds, UK. She marked her early debut as a child artist in the film 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' playing Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukherjee's little daughter. For this film, she was chosen amongst 200 children in an audition. It is said that makers were so impressed with her that they shot the film during the summer vacation specially for her, as she had earlier dumped Rahul Gupta's 'Hum Panchi Ek Daal Ke' due to her studying issues. She appeared next in 'Badal' and 'Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega'.

Sana's parents wanted to keep studies as her priority; therefore she was there on and off following her acting passion. In her growing up days, she debuted in famous kids show 'Fox Kids' aired on Star Plus. Later, she appeared in TV serials 'Babul Ka Aangann Chootey Na' and 'Lo Ho Gayio Pooja Iss Ghar Ki'.

In 2012, Sana came back to the big screen with Karan Johar's 'Student Of The Year' in a supporting role. Though she was acting for the same production house, Sana has completely transformed herself from cutie Anjali of 'KKHH' to hottie Tanya Ishrani of 'SOTY'.

After gaining enough of sex appeal, she appeared in her sizzling avatar in the projects like 'Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season-6', 'MTV Splitsvilla Sexy Sana' and 'Yeh Hai Aashiqui'. Being praised for her dancing skills, she gained an item song in 'Fugly', which rightly displayed her bold body with those explicit dancing moves.

Career

Nishanti (aka) Shanti priya, acted in several films, including her biggest hit, Enga ooru paatukran (1988). She was also seen on TV's sci-fi epic Aaryjamaan – Brahmaand Ka Yoddha opposite Mukesh Khanna in 2002. She acted as heroine in a few TV serials and films. Shanti Priya made her debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Saugandh. She has acted with Mithun Chakraborty in many hit movies like Mere Sajana Saath Nibhana, Phool Aur Angaar and Meherbaan. Now she is making a comeback in Hamilton Palace along with Mahakshay Chakraborty, son of Mithunda.

Family

Shantipriya married actor Siddharth Ray in 1999. Siddharth is the grandson of V. Shantaram and has acted in films like Baazigar and Vansh. Siddharth died of a massive heart attack in 2004, leaving behind his wife and two sons.
