Daisy Bopanna is an Indian actress in Bollywood and Kannada films. She also had acted in Telugu and Tamil language films. She has worked with Superstars like Kamal Hassan in Rama Shama Bhama, Upendra in Aishwarya, and Akshay Kumar in Garam Masala.

Bopanna's family hails from Kodagu (also known by its Anglicised former name of Coorg). Born on 4 December 1982, Daisy did her schooling from Aurobindo School, pre-university at Kumarans College and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Chitrakala Parishat in Bangalore, Karnataka. She is married to Amit Jaju, a forensic analyst and son of Prakash Jaju.

Being academically proficient and coming from an intellectual and highly educated family, Daisy was interested in pursuing a career in advertising as a copywriter. But the call of the entertainment industry proved too strong and she put on hold her intellectual ambitions and opted to work in front of the camera.

She started with theater, working for a short time with B. Jayasri’s Spandana theatre camp and also contemporary English theatre with Preetam Koilpillai, and never looked back. Her first movie Bimba (The Image) was sent to the prestigious Berlin & Frankfurt Film Festival, winning international awards. The movie, directed by Kavitha Lankesh, explored the exploitation of child artistes in the film industry. Her later work in Bhagavan with Darshan earned her the tag of "Spicy Daisy".

After that Daisy went on to act in many films like Rama Shyama Bhama, Thavarina Siri, Aishwarya, Satyavaan Savitri, Gaalipata, Olave Jeevana Lekkachara, Crazy Loka and other films. Daisy proved that she is a good performer in all these films. Daisy event went on to act in Hindi films like Garam Masala where she was seen opposite Akshay Kumar and John Abraham. Though the film was a hit, Daisy had to wait for another two years to find herself a next project. The next project came in the form of United Six which was an average at the box-office.

She starred in more than 150 regional ads before being cast in the Priyadarshan movie Garam Masala. She has also starred in a Tamil and Telugu film, opposite leading stars like Kamal Hassan, Ravi Teja and Ganesh. Her first ad film was with veteran ad film maker Rajiv Menon.

The graceful lady earlier had an aspiration to become a copywriter in the advertising field, as she was very brilliant academically. But, she was destined to act in front of the camera, so she decided to put on hold her ambitions.

Daisy commenced her career by venturing into theatre field. She was a part of Spandana theatre camp of B. Jayasri and also actively participated in contemporary English theatre with Preetam Koilpillai. Daisy's first film 'Bimba' entered in the esteemed Berlin and Frankfurt Film Festival and the movie won international awards. Kavitha Lankesh was the director of this film, which narrated the story of child artistes exploitation in the cinema world. The actress bagged the tag of 'Spicy Daisy' for her work in a Kannada movie 'Bhagavan' opposite Darshan.

The name of the actress perfectly suits to her delicate looks. The Tamil films of Daisy include 'Indru Mudhal' (2003) and 'Chakkara Viyugam' (2008). Many Kannada films are stored in the account of Daisy, like 'Rama Shama Bhama' (2005), 'Jackpot' (2006), 'Aishwarya' (2006), 'Satyavan Savitri' (2007), 'Tavarina Siri' (2006), 'Gaalipata' (2008), 'Olave Jeevana Lekkachara' (2009), 'Crazy Loka' (2012) and 'Maaya' (2012). Daisy was also seen in Telugu flicks, such as 'Chanti' (2004), 'Relax' (2005) and 'Sweet Heart' (2009). She also did Hindi films like 'Garam Masala' (2005), 'Khuda Kasam' (2010) and 'United Six' (2011).

Daisy Bopanna was the well-known face of around 150 regional advertisements. The proficient ad filmmaker Rajiv Menon was the one with whom Daisy had her first ad film. Then, she was casted in the Hindi movie 'Garam Masala' by Priyadarshan. The delicate actress was seen along various big stars like Kamal Haasan, Ganesh, Upendra and Ravi Teja.

Anupama Prakash Kumar, better known as Anupama Kumar, is an Indian film actress and model. Having appeared in more than 300 ad films, she made her debut as an actress in the 2004 Hindi film Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na and went on to play supporting roles in Tamil films.  Besides acting and modelling, Anupama has also worked as a journalist, anchor, visualizer and a television producer.  She won the Vijay Award 2013 for Best Actor in a Supporting Role (Female) for her role in Muppozhudhum Un Karpanaigal.

A Tamilian by birth, Anupama mostly lived in North India. She had been mainly involved in the field of television for over thirteen years, working as an anchor, visualizer, journalist and even producer.  Later she started off into a modelling and acting career, featuring in more than 300 commercials along the likes of Shahrukh Khan and Mohan Lal.  She had appeared in several Hindi language television series such as Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai, Mission Fateh, Shaka Laka Boom Boom and The Magic Make-Up Box as well.

Her film debut happened in 2004, when she accepted an offer to star in the Aishwarya Rai-starrer Kyun...! Ho Gaya Na in a cameo. When she was in Chennai for an ad shoot in 2009, she got to know that director Cheran was looking for a new face to play the role of Cheran's wife as an elder woman.  She took up the role, which, despite being a cameo role, fetched her much critical acclaim.

She is married to G. Shivakumar, a Navy commander and has one son, Aditya, with whom, she currently resides in Chennai.

Jaaved Jaffrey is an Indian actor, voice actor, dancer, comedian, impressionist known for his work in several Bollywood films and Indian television shows. His father is the famous comedian Jagdeep. He joined the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) in March, 2014 and contested in the Indian general election, 2014 from the Lucknow constituency only to finish 5th.


Jaaved Jaaferi is known for donning various hats with flamboyance: actor, dancer, singer, choreographer, VJ, MC, ad filmmaker among others. The son of India’s most popular and legendary Actor/comedian, Jagdeep, Jaaved carries on the tradition of humor with élan.

His other shows on TV include TELE HOUSIE, JBC (Jaaved Broadcasting Corporation), CHITRAHAAR, TRUCK DHINADHIN and CHAK DHOOM DHOOM.


His performance in the song "Mumbhai," from the film, Bombay Boys, which was conceived, written, choreographed by him, gained a cult status among the young dancers and was number 1 on the charts for 6 weeks.


He dubbed Mickey Mouse, Goofy and Don Karnage in Hindi for Disney; scripted the Hindi version of Disney’s Jungle Book 2 and Pixar The Incredibles along with voicing for the antagonist. His character as Charlie Anna in the first full-fledged commercial animated film Roadside Romeo (a collaborative effort of Yash Raj Films and Disney) was highly appreciated. His commentary on the famous Japanese TV show Takeshi's Castle and Ninja Warrior on Pogo TV and Hungama respectively has also garnered a huge fan following with kids and adults. He was also the judge for KWC INDIA (Karaoke World Championships India) with singer Manasi Scott,music directors Raju Singh,Music Director and Singer Salim Merchant Sulaiman Merchant, Founder and Organizer of KWC INDIA Savio Paul D'sa,Singer Composer Leslie Lewis,Singer Remo Fernandes,and Singer Sunita Rao.


He has repeatedly hosted top award shows like Filmfare, SCREEN and IIFA. Furthermore, he has performed in over 200 live shows in India and abroad, and shared the stage with Michael Jackson, Sting, Spice Girls and Queen and the top Bollywood stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Sharukh Khan, A.R.Rahman, Anil Kapoor, Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy etc.


He has been associated with advertising since 1980 as a model, choreographer, copywriter, producer and director. The Maggi Sauce commercials, which he writes and co-directs, have won most of the advertising awards over the past 25 years (one of the world's longest brand associations).


He constantly changes his styles and appearance and bedazzles live, film, and TV audiences with his brand of uproarious humor while maintaining a non-controversial and squeaky-clean image.


He has been honored with the life membership of International Film And Television Club of Asian Academy of Film & Television.


The film Meri Jung, released in 1985, gave him his first opportunity to enact the role of a villain and showcase his dancing powers on screen. Television in the 1990s highlighted his comical abilities, extending his popularity further. The launch of cable TV, particularly Channel and its irreverent sense of humour, gave him a niche to depict his unique brand of comedy.


He anchored the show Videocon Flashback with distinctive brilliance. His deadpan expressions and bilingual puns gave him a formidable fan following.


Another notable contribution by Jaffrey is his performance as an anchor to the top-of-the-charts song programme, Timex Timepass, in which he shifted between the caricatures of characters.


He won his first IIFA Award for best comic role in Salaam Namaste in 2006. He hosts the dance competition show Boogie Woogie on Sony Entertainment Television Asia with his brother Naved Jaffery and friend Ravi Behl. He recently started hosting a game show called Mai Ka Laal on Disney Channel India which airs on Sundays at 5pm.


He has been fielded in 2014 Lok Sabha Elections from Lucknow on the ticket of Aam Aadmi Party which he lost to BJP's national president Rajnath Singh. He had finished 5th in the constituency securing only 41429 votes.
