For his role in Sathyashiva's Sivappu, he lived incognito as a labourer in his friend's construction company for two weeks in order to get into his character. The film will also release in 2014, as would a third film Therodum Veedhiyile, which he had shot for in 2012.

He was also signed as the second lead in the Tamil film Brahman, which will become his first acclaimed release in Tamil, since his first movie was not a commercially successful film that did no justice for his acting abilities. He has also signed on for the lead role in producer C. V. Kumar's Sarabam.
