Gayathrie Shankar is a Tamil film actress, who has appeared in leading roles. Her debut film, N. Krishna's Yen Ippadi Mayakkinai remains unreleased, though she made a breakthrough after featuring in the cult comedy Naduvula Konjam Pakkatha Kaanom.

Gayathrie's family is of Tamil origin and her home town is Bangalore, Karnataka. Her grandfather from Trichy worked as an army officer, while both of her parents work as bankers. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology.

She got her first film offer when she was in 12th class and took it up. Venkatesh made his directorial debut with the 2010 Tamil film Baana Kaathadi.His latest project, Semma Botha Aagatha (2016), sees him returning to work with Atharvaa Murali whom he launched in his debut film.

Venkatesh hails from the Nesapakkam district of Chennai. He is well known as the show director of the popular Celebrity Cricket League (3rd Edition), and the Mirchi Music Awards, the biggest Music awards in South India , and also directing Miss South India, a beauty pageant for all 4 south Indian states.
