Career

Television Career

Gabriella started her career in television at the age of 9 by appearing in Jodi Number One, a dance reality show aired in STAR Vijay. Winning the title along with Rafiq gave her opportunities in the film industry. She also appeared as Gaby in 7aam Vaguppu C Pirivu, a tamil school opera aired in STAR Vijay.

Film Career

Gabriella made her acting debut with the romantic – psychological thriller ‘3’, playing the role Shruti Haasan’s sister Sumi. She later bagged an interesting role in ‘Chennaiyil Oru Naal’. Gabriella also appeared in Samuthirakani’s recent hit movie Appa, in the role of Rashita Banu.

Vishal–Shekhar are a music directing duo of Vishal Dadlani and Shekhar Ravjiani who have worked in Hindi, Telugu and Marathi films. Their works include Jhankaar Beats, Dus, Bluffmaster, Om Shanti Om, Bachna Ae Haseeno, Dostana, Chintakayala Ravi, Anjaana Anjaani, Ra.One, Student of the Year, Chennai Express , Bang Bang and Happy New Year.


The duo rose to prominence when they composed the score for the film Jhankaar Beats which included the song "Tu Aashiqui Hai". They won the Filmfare RD Burman Award for New Music Talent for Jhankaar Beats. The music for the film Musafir combined techno music with Indian sounds.[citation needed] The score included "Saaki" and "Door Se Paas". In 2005 they composed the scores for three films: Salaam Namaste, Dus and Bluffmaster.


Vishal Dadlani is also the vocalist of Mumbai-based electronic band Pentagram. He collaborated with Imogen Heap on the song "Minds Without Fear" for an episode of The Dewarists.


Shekhar Ravjiani is a trained classical singer (under Ustad Niaz Ahmed Khan). He learned to play the accordion from his father, a music enthusiast, Hasmukh Ravjiani. Shekhar was a participant of Zee TV singing contest Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1997. He composed and sung Marathi songs "Saazni" in 2012 and "Saavli" (with Sunidhi Chauhan) in 2013.


They have been judges on the popular star hunt show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 and the musical talent show Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star with director and choreographer Farah Khan. They are the judges on Amul Star Voice of India Mummy Ki Superstars. They were mentors and judges in the Zee TV reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa with Sajid-Wajid. They have composed title track for Star Plus' upcoming daily Navya and Piya Re Bhavri.


They have also composed the IPL theme song of season 3 and Anthem of Kolkata Knight Riders.


Vishal and Shekhar will be the World's first ever musicians to perform for a live audio concert which will be accessible on mobile phones and the internet. They are excited to be the pioneer in the show which may put them in the Guinness Book of World Records.


Following the terror attacks on Mumbai on 26 November 2008, Vishal Dadlani launched a petition to ban live media coverage during the rescue operations.


They are the composers behind the Kailash Kher's song "Allah Ke Bande" from Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II.


On 23 January 2012, Vishal and Shekhar performed at Spring Fest 2012 in IIT Kharagpur on 22 January 2012; they also performed at Saarang in IIT Madras.


On 15 February 2012, Vishal and Shekhar performed at Crossroads 2012 in SRCC.


On 25 March 2012, Vishal and Shekhar with Shruti Pathak performed live at Pandit Deendayal Petroleum University in Flare.


Vishal–Shekhar composed the IPL 6 anthem "Jumping Japaang" and the IPL 7 anthem "Chalo Bulawa Aya Hai".


On 10 November 2013, Vishal and Shekhar with Priyanka Chopra performed live at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani – Goa Campus, Goa.


Vishal Dadlani also appeared in Om Shanti Om as a cameo role.


Vishal was one of the first Indian celebrities to openly support the Aam Aadmi Party.


On 16 June 2014, duo Vishal–Shekhar performed for a big music-loving Bangalore crowd, despite not being paid their dues. Vishal–Shekhar didn't want their fans to suffer because of organisers’ misdemeanour. As per Vishal, organiser named Claret Sun Events & promoters PhaniShri & Sunil Kashyap kept delaying payment till the time of performance. The Duo plan to sue the organisers


On 28 September 2014, Vishal and Shekhar performed live at Festember 14 at NIT, Trichy.

Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy is an Indian musical trio consisting of Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa. Record producers,musicians and multi-instrumentalists, they have composed music for over fifty soundtracks across four languages. Among the most critically acclaimed Indian musicians, the trio have won over twenty awards, including one National Film Award, three Filmfare Awards, three IIFA Awards among several other awards and nominations. They are often referred to as "Amar Akbar Anthony" of Hindi film music by several, including eminent critic Rajeev Masand.


Shankar Mahadevan

Shankar Mahadevan was born and brought up in Chembur, a suburb of Mumbai, in a Tamil Iyer family from Kerala He learned Hindustani classical music and Carnatic music in his childhood and started playing the veena at the age of five. He studied under Srinivas Khale, a popular Marathi music composer. After graduating in 1988 with a degree in Software Engineering from Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology in Navi Mumbai under the auspices of Mumbai University, he worked as a software engineer on Oracle Version Six. He is the main vocalist of the trio. After working for a while for Leading Edge Systems, Shankar ventured into the field of music.He earned his first award as a playback singer in a Tamil movie, collaborating with A. R. Rahman and winning a National Film Award for his song in Kandukondain Kandukondain. A prominent star in Tamil cinema, he gained further recognition upon the release of his first music album, Breathless, in 1998.


Ehsaan Noorani

Ehsaan Noorani is the lead guitarist. Ehsaan has studied music with Bismarck Rodrigues, an experienced guitar teacher from Mumbai. He provides the SEL brand an energetic burst that is often experienced in their on-stage performances. Ehsaan is the first Indian to have endorsed a signature line of Fender guitars, one of the largest and most reputed guitar manufacturers in the world.


Loy Mendonsa

Loy Mendonsa is the keyboardist. He played keyboard for famous music composers such as A. R. Rahman. His daughter, Alyssa Mendonsa, recently made her singing debut with the hit track "Uff Teri Adaa" from the movie Karthik Calling Karthik.

Erica Fernandes is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu language films. Prior to her film career, she took part in the beauty pageant Miss India 2012, finishing in the top ten.

Erica Fernandes was born and brought up in Mumbai, and her parents, Ralph Fernandes, a model and interior designer, and Lavina, had originated from Mangalore, Karnataka. She did her schooling from Holy Cross High School and completed her college from SIES College of Arts, Science, and Commerce, Sion. For further studies, she pursued her Bachelors in Arts from St. Andrew's College, Mumbai. Since 2010, she has taken part in pageants and notably won Pantaloons Femina Miss Maharashtra 2011 amongst other titles

Erica auditioned to play the lead role in S. J. Surya's Isai but was eventually not picked for the venture. She subsequently was selected to play the lead role in the bilingual Virattu / Dega instead, featuring alongside newcomer Sujiv, son of the director Kumar.

Director Sasi had seen pictures of Erica at Meera Kathiravan’s office, whom she was shooting another film with, when he was casting for Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu. Sasi offered her a role of a software engineer in the film alongside Bharath, who plays her love interest. Due to the delay of her other films, Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu became her first release. In 2014, she made her debut in Kannada with the film Ninnindale featuring alongside Puneet Rajkumar.

Her film with Kathiravan, Vizhithiru is likely to release in 2014 and sees her feature amongst an ensemble cast including Krishna, Venkat Prabhu and Sara Arjun. She will also be seen in Babloo Happy Hai, a Hindi film directed by Nila Madhab Panda.

Anaswara Kumar is an Indian film actress, who works in the Tamil film industry. She started her career with Arivazhaghan's sports thriller Vallinam (2014), though the romantic comedy Ego (2013) released first. She made her breakthrough portraying Mohini in the black comedy film Yaamirukka Bayamey, which became a commercial success.

Anaswara was born and raised in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, and her mother tongue is Malayalam. She did her schooling from Jawahar Vidyalaya in Ashok Nagar and at A.V.Meiyappan Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Virugambakkam, Chennai. She then went on to graduate in Corporate Economics from Women's Christian College, Chennai.

Anaswara started her career with a supporting role in Arivazhaghan's sports thriller Vallinam (2014) after being selected from forty girls in an audition, which she had attended after being spotted at a Chennai Super Kings fans video shoot. However, her first leading role came through the romantic comedy Ego (2013) featuring newcomers. The film gained poor reviews and had a low profile release at the box office.

She made her breakthrough portraying Mohini in the black comedy film Yaamirukka Bayamey (2014), which became a commercial success. Anaswara had met the director Deekay through Balaji, who had also appeared in the film, and was selected after convincing Deekay that she could convincing portray a haunted character. During production, Anaswara's make-up in her ghost avatar took up to four hours to apply, while she revealed that she got into character by "standing alone in the haunted room to imbibe the ghostly feelings". The actors in the film won positive reviews, with Rediff.com noting "the lead actors have performed admirably; there is a touch of eccentricity and wackiness to all the characters that adds to the ambience of the film."

Leon James is a South Indian music composer and playback singer. He debuted in Tamil films as the music composer in the upcoming film Muni 3: Ganga.
