Shekhar Ravjiani is a trained classical singer (under Ustad Niaz Ahmed Khan). He learned to play the accordion from his father, a music enthusiast, Hasmukh Ravjiani. Shekhar was a participant of Zee TV singing contest Sa Re Ga Ma Pa in 1997. He composed and sung Marathi songs "Saazni" in 2012 and "Saavli" (with Sunidhi Chauhan) in 2013.


They have been judges on the popular star hunt show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Challenge 2007 and the musical talent show Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star with director and choreographer Farah Khan. They are the judges on Amul Star Voice of India Mummy Ki Superstars. They were mentors and judges in the Zee TV reality show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa with Sajid-Wajid. They have composed title track for Star Plus' upcoming daily Navya and Piya Re Bhavri.


They have also composed the IPL theme song of season 3 and Anthem of Kolkata Knight Riders.


Vishal and Shekhar will be the World's first ever musicians to perform for a live audio concert which will be accessible on mobile phones and the internet. They are excited to be the pioneer in the show which may put them in the Guinness Book of World Records.


Following the terror attacks on Mumbai on 26 November 2008, Vishal Dadlani launched a petition to ban live media coverage during the rescue operations.


They are the composers behind the Kailash Kher's song "Allah Ke Bande" from Waisa Bhi Hota Hai Part II.


On 23 January 2012, Vishal and Shekhar performed at Spring Fest 2012 in IIT Kharagpur on 22 January 2012; they also performed at Saarang in IIT Madras.

Vishal–Shekhar composed the IPL 6 anthem "Jumping Japaang" and the IPL 7 anthem "Chalo Bulawa Aya Hai".


On 10 November 2013, Vishal and Shekhar with Priyanka Chopra performed live at Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani – Goa Campus, Goa.


Vishal Dadlani also appeared in Om Shanti Om as a cameo role.


Vishal was one of the first Indian celebrities to openly support the Aam Aadmi Party.


On 16 June 2014, duo Vishal–Shekhar performed for a big music-loving Bangalore crowd, despite not being paid their dues. Vishal–Shekhar didn't want their fans to suffer because of organisers’ misdemeanour. As per Vishal, organiser named Claret Sun Events & promoters PhaniShri & Sunil Kashyap kept delaying payment till the time of performance. The Duo plan to sue the organisers

Shankar Mahadevan


Shankar Mahadevan was born and brought up in Chembur, a suburb of Mumbai, in a Tamil Iyer family from Kerala He learned Hindustani classical music and Carnatic music in his childhood and started playing the veena at the age of five. He studied under Srinivas Khale, a popular Marathi music composer. After graduating in 1988 with a degree in Software Engineering from Ramrao Adik Institute of Technology in Navi Mumbai under the auspices of Mumbai University, he worked as a software engineer on Oracle Version Six. He is the main vocalist of the trio. After working for a while for Leading Edge Systems, Shankar ventured into the field of music.He earned his first award as a playback singer in a Tamil movie, collaborating with A. R. Rahman and winning a National Film Award for his song in Kandukondain Kandukondain. A prominent star in Tamil cinema, he gained further recognition upon the release of his first music album, Breathless, in 1998.


Ehsaan Noorani


Ehsaan Noorani is the lead guitarist. Ehsaan has studied music with Bismarck Rodrigues, an experienced guitar teacher from Mumbai. He provides the SEL brand an energetic burst that is often experienced in their on-stage performances. Ehsaan is the first Indian to have endorsed a signature line of Fender guitars, one of the largest and most reputed guitar manufacturers in the world.


Loy Mendonsa

Loy Mendonsa is the keyboardist. He played keyboard for famous music composers such as A. R. Rahman. His daughter, Alyssa Mendonsa, recently made her singing debut with the hit track "Uff Teri Adaa" from the movie Karthik Calling Karthik.

Erica auditioned to play the lead role in S. J. Surya's Isai but was eventually not picked for the venture. She subsequently was selected to play the lead role in the bilingual Virattu / Dega instead, featuring alongside newcomer Sujiv, son of the director Kumar.

Director Sasi had seen pictures of Erica at Meera Kathiravan’s office, whom she was shooting another film with, when he was casting for Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu. Sasi offered her a role of a software engineer in the film alongside Bharath, who plays her love interest. Due to the delay of her other films, Ainthu Ainthu Ainthu became her first release. In 2014, she made her debut in Kannada with the film Ninnindale featuring alongside Puneet Rajkumar.

Her film with Kathiravan, Vizhithiru is likely to release in 2014 and sees her feature amongst an ensemble cast including Krishna, Venkat Prabhu and Sara Arjun. She will also be seen in Babloo Happy Hai, a Hindi film directed by Nila Madhab Panda.

Anaswara had met the director Deekay through Balaji, who had also appeared in the film, and was selected after convincing Deekay that she could convincing portray a haunted character. During production, Anaswara's make-up in her ghost avatar took up to four hours to apply, while she revealed that she got into character by "standing alone in the haunted room to imbibe the ghostly feelings". The actors in the film won positive reviews, with Rediff.com noting "the lead actors have performed admirably; there is a touch of eccentricity and wackiness to all the characters that adds to the ambience of the film."
