Parvathy was born to a Malayali family in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She completed her secondary education at Our Own English High School, Abu Dhabi, and resumed her senior secondary education at St. Thomas Central School, Trivandrum, Kerala in India. She later obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science at Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal University. Parvathy was born to a Malayali family in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. She was an active member of theatre clubs in school and college and decided to pursue a career in acting. She stated, "I've always wanted to be an actor after being part of a short film we made in college".


Parvathy started modelling and was crowned Miss Karnataka in 2009 and became the face of Mysore Sandal soap. She became the brand ambassador of many leading consumer brands across the country and walked the ramp at a number of fashion shows in and out of the country before being crowned Miss Navy Queen in 2010.


After working in a commercial for director V. K. Prakash, Parvathy was offered the lead role in his feature film Beautiful. Having just completed her engineering, she said that she was not sure if she wanted to be in cinema and refused the offer. He later asked her to do a role in Poppins and by then, she felt she was ready. Although Poppins was her first release, Yakshi – Faithfully Yours was the first Malayalam film she signed. A fantasy romantic thriller, centred on the Nagayakshi concept, it saw Parvathy playing a traditional character in the past.


She had four releases in 2013, three of them bring Malayalam films. She appeared in a de-glam role in the action anthology D Company, in the segment Gangs of Vadakkumnathan, and in Nee Ko Njaa Cha, which she called "an out-and-out new-age film", and featured her in a modern avatar.Nee Ko Njaa cha was super hit in box office. In director Shaleel's Dolls, she played a medical student.The fourth release was her debut Kannada film Story Kathe.


After making her Tamil film debut with a cameo role in Nimirndhu Nil, a role she repeated in its Telugu version Janda Pai Kapiraju too,


She got a prime role in Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain. She plays a 19 year old in the film and would be paired opposite Ashwin, who plays the son of Kamal Haasan's character. She has also signed up the Kannada film, Vasco-da-Gama .


In 2013, she was chief judge and host in the first modelling based Malayalam reality show Super Models on Amrita Television. Also in 2013, she appeared in a music video, "Ariyathe Ninayathe", by Vineeth Sreenivasan.She was included in the Bangalore Times Most Desirable Women of 2013.

Shortly after, he directed his first film, the romantic comedy Mounam Pesiyadhe (2002). The film starred Suriya in the lead and became Trisha Krishnan's first release featuring her in a leading role. The same year, he began his own production company, Teamwork Production House. 

His second directorial was the mystery thriller Raam, which he produced himself and released three years later. The film, which revolves around an autistic teenager, portrayed by Jiiva, who is highly attached to his mother, but becomes suspected of having murdered her, received critical acclaim, with Jeeva and the film's composer Yuvan Shankar Raja winning awards at the 2005 Cyprus International Film Festival.  It also became Jeeva's breakthrough in the film industry, who till then had appeared in two unsuccessful home productions only.

In 2007, he directed the drama Paruthiveeran set in a village in Tamil Nadu, which marked the debut of Karthi, younger son of Sivakumar and brother of Suriya. Critics heaped high praise on the film and Ameer's direction, while Karthi as well as Priyamani, who performed the female lead, won several notable prizes for their performances. 

Paruthiveeran remains Ameer's most acclaimed work, having received six Filmfare Awards South including the Best Film and Best Director trophies, two National Film Awards, two Tamil Nadu State Film Awards and four Vijay Awards. The film further fetched accolades at international platform, winning the Best Film Award at the Osian's Cinefan Festival of Asian and Arab Cinema and Netpac Special Mention award at the Berlin International Film Festival.

He is currently working on his fourth directorial, Aadhi Bhagavan, featuring Jayam Ravi and Neetu Chandra in the lead roles. Ameer's next film is Jihad which is his own production.That is a love story.

On 24 October 2008, Ameer was arrested.  Being a Tamil activist, he took part in a film rally condemning state atrocities against Tamils in Sri Lanka, organized by director Bharathiraja, also a Tamil activist, and other prominent Tamil directors, actors, and producers. 

The rally was part of statewide protests across Tamil Nadu in 2008 condemning Sri Lanka. During the rally, Ameer and fellow director Seeman made speeches criticizing the Indian government and expressing support to the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, a Tamil separatist group on the island.  The two were later released on bail with the help of their assistant directors, Bharathiraja, and actor R. Sarath Kumar. Ameer sultan has expressed strong support to Eelam Tamils right to self-determination and the independence of Tamil Eelam.

Gundu Kalyanam (Lakshmi Narayanan) is Actor,director in tamil film industry and active and hardcore member at ADMK party.  Actor Gundu Kalyanam entered cine field in the year 1967 and his first movie was Mazhalai Pattalam (1980). He is best known for his roles in Rajinikanth featuring movie (1981).

He has acted more than 750 movies in various languages. He also had his hands on direction with the movie Nanga Pudusa and Nalla Nalla Pillaigalai Nambi. He also penned a patriotic song for the movie Nalla Nalla Pillaigalai Nambi and made a special screening of the song was held for former president Abdul Kalam. His mother passed away on 11th July 2011 by 10 PM.
