Vivek
Vivek is a Tamil film actor and comedian. He has won four Filmfare Best Comedian Awards for his performances in Run, Saamy, Perazhagan and Sivaji, respectively.
In April 2009, Vivek received the Padma Shri award by the Government of India for his contribution to the arts.
Vivek debuted in with Manathil Uruthi Vendum in 1987. Later he played roles in Kushi, Minnale, Run and Saamy. In 2009, he received and Asianet Film Award for Special Honour Jury Award.
Vivek was born in the Thevar community (Kallar subcaste) from Tamil Nadu, India.
He completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The American College, Madurai.
Vivek is married to Kavitha with children Amritha Nandini Vivek, Tejaswini Vivek and Prasanna Kumar Vivek.

Poomani (Tamil: பூமணி) (born 1947) is a Sahithya Academy Winning Tamil writer from Kovilpatti in the south Indian state of Tamil Nadu.He won Sahithya Academy Award for his novel Agnaadi in 2014.
Poomani was born in 1947 into a family of marginal farmers in Andipatti, a village near Kovilpatti.
In his youth, Poomani was enchanted by the stories he heard around him growing up, as told by his mother and in his community. As a young man, the works of Ki. Rajanarayanan, a senior writer from Kovilpatti, inspired Poomani to take up writing. According to Poomani, KiRa combined in his writing "the scent of the soil with the natural flow of life's energies to enable the writing to develop its own traits, instead of borrowing from other models".
