Near Kanchipuram a village named tirur is there which has a government school, where the famous tamil song lyrics writer Na. muthukumar's father mr nagaraj worked as tamil teacher. His Father maintained a Collection of more than 5000 books throughout his life. Na.Muthukumar used to tell that, he developed lots of knowledge by reading those books.

After the death of his Father, Na.Muthukumar shifted those books to his Chennai office and maintains them. He felt that, just like how he developed his knowledge and life by reading those books, in the same way, those books could be helpful for others also. So, he is in plans to open his own Library. On 24 June 2006, he got married Jeevalakshmi at the JS Marriage Hall in Vadapalani in Chennai.

 
Career :

Muthukumar began his career wanting to be a director and worked under Balu Mahendra for four years. But then he became a lyricist, beginning with the lyrics for the songs of the Tamil film Veera Nadai, directed by Seeman. Since then, he has written songs for more than 50 films, written lyrics for more than 700 songs and worked with almost every contemporary Tamil film music composer and is currently one of the most important and most busiest writer in the Tamil film industry. Mostly he has worked together with Yuvan Shankar Raja and wrote lyrics to the songs, he composed. He even turned dialogue writer for the Tamil film Kireedam (2007), directed by A. L. Vijay.


He handles a very good chemistry with Music director Yuvanshankar raja.He has worked with Ilayaraja,A R Rahman,Haris jayaraj,Dharan,Sundar.c.babu,G V Prakash Kumar etc.

R. Kannan (born Rajmohan) is an Indian filmmaker and screenwriter. He made his directorial debut with the successful Tamil film Jayamkondaan starring Vinay Rai and Bhavana in 2008.

Kannan started his career assisting director Manobala before joining Mani Ratnam in films including Kannathil Muthamittal (2002), Ayutha Ezhuthu (2004) and Guru (2007).He directed his first film Jayamkondaan in 2008. Jayamkondaan revolved around an Information technology professional and his relationship with his step sister. The film opened to generally positive reviews. His third film, Kanden Kadhalai, was a remake of Imtiaz Ali's Hindi blockbuster, Jab We Met (2007).

In 2014, she made a comeback featuring in the multi-starrer Netru Indru alongside Prasanna and Vimal, while also signing on to feature in Ajith Kumar's next film directed by Siva.
