Prachi Desai is a perfect example of a metamorphosis of a beautiful butterfly from a simple pupa. Like a butterfly, Prachi Desai has evolved from a simple next door Gujarati girl to a stylish and glamorous B-Town actress. Bani Walia a.k.a Prachi Desai has become a famed name in every household after a successful debut through Ektaa Kapoor's drama daily soap named 'Kasamh Se' on Hindi Television. She soon captured an eye of audiences' and positioned herself in the list of Hindi Television's favorite Bahus.
Prachi Desai is born and brought up in a simple middle class Gujarati family from Surat. Her father is a professor at a law college and her mother is a former teacher. The beautiful Prachi had stage daring and talent of acting since her childhood. As a young girl, she used to participate in many dancing and acting competitions and used to get prizes in them. After finishing her schooling from St. Joseph's convent she went to Sinhagad College for higher studies. She started working as a model for smaller brands and then Balaji Telefilms selected her for a lead role in their soap opera 'Kasamh Se' . Bubbly Prachi never looked behind after grabbing this big opportunity. After 'Kasamh Se' she did a small role in the other daily soap 'Kasautii Zindagii Kay' and took a part in a dance competition 'Jhalak Dikhla Jaa'. Though she got eliminated in the first few episodes, but then she got an entry to the show again through wild card and became the winner of the show. The charming actress is the best example of a successful switch from a small screen to the silver screen.

Beautiful and talented Prachi caught an eye of a veteran Bollywood director Abhishek Kapoor and he introduced her into the world of Hindi Feature films through his flick 'Rock On' in the year 2008. She left a powerful impression on the audiences' hearts with her beauty and charm. She became successful in creating a niche of her in the B-Town with her talent , hard work and choosy attitude. Simple and sweet Prachi did a variety of roles is the films like 'Main Joker' (2010), 'Bol Bachchan' (2012) , 'Teri Meri Kahani' (2012), 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai' (2010) and 'Life Partner' (2009). Prachi is the brand ambassador of Goa tourism and a second spokesperson of Neutrogena products in India.

Currently she is busy in her new project 'I, Me Aur Main' directed by Kapil Sharma featuring John Abraham as her opposite lead.

Avani Modi……a Girl from the state of Gujarat is the latest sensation in the Bollywood industry making her big Bollywood debut with director Madhur Bhandarkar’s CALENDAR GIRLS.


Avani is a well known theatre actress in Gujarati theatre. She has done multiple Plays and won lots of applause from the audience. She is also a famous model in the industry. Apart from these she made her debut in South industry with her Tamil film NAAN RAJAVAGA POGIREIN in 2013 and won millions of hearts with her performance. She has done an international short film GULABEE which has won The BEST FILM award in CANADA INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL in Vancouver and in NEW YORK INDIAN INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL.Avani is also coming up with her Next Tamil Film STRAWBERRY OPP. PA VIJAY which is all set to release this year.


Talking about CALENDAR GIRLS, Avani was selected out of 1500 girls from the Audition by Madhur Bhandarkar and his team. Avani has been chosen for the very tough role in CALENDAR GIRLS which required lots of acting skills and confidence. “Working with Madhur Bhandarkar is a life time experience. Leena Jumani is a famous Tv actor who features mainly in Gujarati movies and in Hindi television serials. Born on 16th July 1989 in Gujarat the actress has been fond of acting since childhood. So after finishing her junior college, Leena started doing modeling assignments and acting in Gujarati films. She later got a chance to work in Hindi television serial Bandini. Her role of Khemi , a village girl was appreciated by the audience and then she got a chance to work in different television series like 'Koi Aane ko Hai','Ganga ki Dheej','Chhoti si Zindagi','Punar Vivah' etc.

Currently she is doing a role of Mala in Tv serial 'Kairi'. She will be making her Bollywood debut through a much awaited film 'Himmatwala'. She will be playing a role of Ajay Devgn's sister in this movie.

Monal Gajjar is an Indian film actress and model. She has signed five films even before the release of her first film. She was a winner of the Miss Gujarat title and also won the Mirchi Queen Bee beauty pageant organised by Radio Mirchi. She will make her debut in Malayalam with Dracula 2012 and in Tamil with Vanavarayan Vallavarayan. She has done a special appearance in Asha Bhonsle’s film.

Aashka Goradia is a well known actress of the Indian Television Industry. Her highlighting features has made her perfect to fit into the role of an "Indian Bahu". Aashka was born on November 27, 1985 in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India.

After completing her schooling from St. Louis School, Ahmedabad, Aashka was working with a marketing company, called ORG MARG as a translator. But soon she had to quit it, as she started getting acting offers. She marked her debut with SONY Television Show, 'Achanak 37 Saal Baad'. However, her character role of Kumud in TV serial 'Kkusum' gained her the popularity.

Shedding her stereotypical Bahu's image, Aashka has experimented with the negative roles in ZEE TV's 'Saat Phere', Colors TV's 'Laagi Tujhse Lagan' and SONY TV's 'Bharat Ka Veer Putra- Maharana Pratap'. She has also been the part of television reality shows like 'Jet Set Go', 'Kaun Banega Crorepati 4', 'Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi' and 'Bigg Boss 6'.

Isha never gave acting in Bollywood too much priority, until she was spotted by Subhash Ghai who required someone with talented dancing skills to perform in his movie Kisna. He offered her a main role in the film opposite Vivek Oberoi. The film did not do well but her dance performances were appreciated. She was also the dancer opposite Hrithik Roshan in the Parle Hide & Seek commercial, performing a much appreciated dance duet with Hrithik. Since then she has continued her dance performances on stage, as well as signing for several additional movies which were released in 2006 and 2007. She appeared as a female lead in the Hindi comedy Darwaza Bandh Rakho in 2006.
