Papri Ghosh is an Indian actress who predominantly appears in Bengali, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi films. She made her film debut in Kaalbela(2009).

Papri Ghosh made her debut in Goutam Ghose’s Bengali film Kaalbela, released on 16 January 2009. She also had a lead role in Krodh, directed by Shankar Ray and released on 25 December 2009.

She starred as Hema in the Tamil movie Touring Talkies with S. A. Chandrasekhar, Manobala, and Robo Shankar, directed by S. A. Chandrasekhar and released on 30 January 2015.She played Brishti in Beparoyaa with Surya and Rajatava Dutta, directed by Pijush Saha and released in 15 January 2016. She also starred as Gayathri in Oyee, a Tamil movie with Geethan Britto, Eesha, and Arjunan Nandhakumar, directed by Francis Markus and released on 8 April 2016.

Papri played role in Bairavaa with vijay and Keerthy Suresh directed by Barathan and released on January 12, 2017.

Ashna Zaveri, who made her debut in the Tamil film industry opposite Santhanam in the comic caper Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham (VPA), is intent on learning Tamil. The fashion-stylist-turned actress, who is now busy working on director. Muruganand's untitled film, starring Santhanam in the lead, says she had a tutor who taught her the language for a couple of hours every day. 

Even as her debut movie with Nakul and Attakatthi Dinesh has just commenced, Kolkata girl Aishwarya Dutta has been brought on board for a movie titled 'Aruthapathi'.  Vidharth plays the lead protagonist and the film went on floors recently.

Wasna Ahmed is an Indian television actress. She made her debut with the role of Dhara in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. She also played in “Shree” as Shree.

Mumtaz Sorcar is an Indian film actress. She is the youngest daughter of magician PC Sorcar Junior and Jayashree Devi. Mumtaz started her career with a music video for singer Mehreen from Bangladesh. She first appeared in the short film Bhorai: The Maladies of Dawn directed by Subhrajit Mitra produced by NIBS.


Her schooling was from Modern High School for Girls (Kolkata). She completed her Graduation in BA.LLB from South Calcutta Law College under Calcutta University. Sports is her hobby. As an athlete she got trained in Boxing from south Kolkata club under Bengal Amateur Boxing Federation. She also has training in Judo. She is also a classical Jazz dancer. She's also a gold medalist in shot put from YMCA.


Her debut film was 033 which was directed by Birsha Dasgupta. She also signed a Tollywood big screen film in Shoumik Sen directed No Poblem (2007). The film is currently in post-production state & is slotted to be released in 2012.


Another one of her upcoming film is Koekti Meyer Golpo directed by Subrata Sen. The film deals with the root cause of involvement of high society girls in escort services. The lead roles are played by Mumtaz, Raima Sen, Parno Mittra. She has also signed a film Atmogopan by Somnath Sen. Mumtaz plays the character 'Anu', Subhash Chatterjee essays her father.

Indrani Chakraborty is a Bengali beauty and is popularly known as Mishti in film industry. She is considered as the new discovery of Subhash Ghai who is known to introduce new faces in Bollywood. Mishti, yet another Bong bombshell who is seen in Subhash Ghai's latest release film Kaanchi. Interestingly Mishti's character is shown to be a use-friendly go-getter. Mishti whose debut in Kaanchi has been received lukewarmly by critics and by the audience is all set to do another film with Subhash Ghai. This time her co-star would be Salman Khan. 

Mishti's real name is Indrani Chakraborty who is not a newcomer in film industry. Filmmaker Subhash Ghai, who often renames the female leads of his films with 'M' gave her name Mishti as he chooses the alphabet for his actresses because it symbolises mother. Ghai said " M factor is the mother. A woman is a mother. For me M doesn't connote money or movie." Indrani has already worked in many regional films as well as done a cameo in a Hindi film titled Strings of Passion. She made her debut in Sanghamitra Chaudhuri's Bengali movie Bidehir Khonje Rabindranath. In another Bengali film Porichoi, Indrani shared the screen with Bengali superstar Prasenjit Chatterjee.

Bidita is an actress and professional model. She has walked the ramp for famous designers, like Sabyasachi Mukherjee and Kiran Uttam Ghosh.  Born and brought up in Kolkata, she is an Economics graduate from Jadavpur University.  A leading model, she has featured in several ads. Bidita made her foray into movies with a Bengali film called Icche, which released in July, 2011.  Her second film “As the River flows”, was a Hindi feature film opposite Sanjay Suri and Victor Banerjee. Bidita’s role as a simple Assamese girl was critically appreciated. On August 2012, her first Hindi commercial film, “From Sydney with Love” released to mixed reviews. The romantic comedy directed by Prateek Chakravorty, starred Sharad Malhotra, Karan Sagoo along with Bidita as Meghaa Banerjee.

Debi Dutta (Kyra Dutt) is a model and actress. After she started modeling at the age 15 she shifted her base to Mumbai, India. Her first role was to act in Yash Raj Film's Rocket Singh: Salesman of the Year (2009). She has done a host of songs and ad films for Thumsup, Close Up, HCL Laptop, Wild Stone Deo etc.

For the Bengali music reality show 'Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li'l Champs', Monali Thakur was the judge for two years. She also was a part of 'Coke Studio' and Bengali show 'Key Hobe Biggest Fan'. 'Sawaar Loon' was the song from the film 'Lootera' (2013) for which Monali Thakur grabbed the Filmfare Award for Best Female Playback Singer. In 2014, Monali Thakur played the lead role in Nagesh Kukunoor's directorial 'Lakshmi'. The film was based on child prostitution and human trafficking. Soon, she will be seen in the film 'Mango' by Abbas Tyrewala.
