Abhinayashree is an Indian film actress who has appeared in South Indian regional language films in supporting roles. Abhinayashree's mother Anuradha appeared in over 700 films in Indian languages playing supporting roles and item numbers. Her first major role came in Siddique's 2001 Tamil comedy Friends, which featured her alongside Vijay and Suriya. She received a breakthrough in her career after featuring alongside Allu Arjun in the 2004 Telugu film Arya in an item number for the song "Aa Ante Amalapuram". The success led to further offers for the actress in similar roles. 

She played her first lead role in the 2005 Telugu comedy Hungama appearing alongside Ali and Venu Madhav and signed on to shoot for thirty days after the director Krishna Reddy convinced her with the role. The actress won the Nandi Award for Best Female Comedian for her role in Paisalo Paramatma, her biggest recognition til date.

After appearing in a full-fledged supporting role in the 2007 Telugu film Adivaram Adavallaku Selavu, Abhinayashree opted against appearing in any more item numbers, but soon went back on her decision explaining that the likes of Mumaith Khan were successfully able to balance both.

Sithara (born 30 June 1973) is an Indian actress who has featured mainly in Malayalam and Kannada films besides acting in few Tamil and Telugu films.

She is best known for her performances in the blockbuster hit films like Halunda Tavaru where she acted opposite the legendary South Indian Super Star Dr.Vishnuvardhan and her debut Tamil film Pudhu Pudhu Arthangal (1989) directed by the legendary director K. Balachander. She has been in the acting in both feature films and television series since 1988.

Riyaz Khan is an Indian film actor who has acted in several Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, and Hindi films. He debuted in the Malayalam film Sugham Sughakaram directed by Balachandra Menon.

Later he went on to act in Tamil and Telugu films. After many years, he came back to the Malayalam film industry acting in Balettan starring Mohanlal. He is also a brand ambassador of a Chennai based fitness studio called 'Inshape health & fitness'.

His latest films include Arasangam, Stalin (Telugu), Thirupathi, Ghajini, Winner, Baba, Ramana. He is married to actress Uma Riyaz The couple have two sons, Shariq and Samshad.

Madhoo is an actress in Indian films. She has acted in Malayalam, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada films. She is best remembered for her portrayals in Maniratnam's Roja (1992) and Shankar's Gentleman (1993).

She was named after the late Hindi actress Madhubala. Madhoo is the niece of actress Hema Malini. She did her schooling from St.Joseph's high school in Juhu - Mumbai

She made her debut in the Malayalam film Ottayal Pattalam opposite Mukesh, and was later introduced to Tamil by K. She married Anand Shah on 19 February 1999. She has two daughters Ameyaa (16 November 2000) and Keia (9 November 2002).

Sreeja is an Indian actress who acts mostly in Malayalam movies.  Her lead roles in Indrajaalam as Mohanlal's heroine and Cheriya Lokavum Valiya Manushyarum are well noted. She had acted only in few movies.

Sreeja is born to Theater artists Sreedharan and Usha on April 18, 1971 at Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. She has acted in few dramas along with her parents before coming to movie industry. Josephine, better known by her stage name Rekha, is a Malayalam and Tamil actress who acted in hit movies like Ramji Rao Speaking, Aey Auto and Sagaram Sakshi in Malayalam and Punnagai Mannan, En Bommukutty Ammavukku and Kadalora Kavithaigal in Tamil. She was born in Kerala and completed her studies at Ooty in Tamil Nadu. She now acts in TV serials and in character roles in films. She won Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Malayalam film Dasharatham

Shobana Chandrakumar (born 21 March 1970), known as Shobana is an Indian film actress and Bharatanatyam dancer. She was among the popular lead actress in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films during the 1980s and 1990s. Shobana was born to Anandam and Chandrakumar, in Kerala. She is the niece of the Travancore sisters Lalitha, Padmini and Ragini, all of whom were renowned for their skill in classical Indian dance. The veteran actress Sukumari is her paternal aunt. She is single and is involved in her dance school as well as her creative pursuits full time. Her very close friends from the industry are Revathi, Suhasini & Rohini. Famous actor and renowned dancer Vineeth is related to her. She won the National Film Award for Best Actress twice, for her performances in the films Manichitrathazhu (1993) and Mitra My Friend (2002). In 2006, the Government of India honored Shobana with the Padma Shri for her contributions towards the arts.

Prem Kumar is an Indian film actor, most popular for his Malayalam films during the 1990s. He did many notable roles in Tele films and soap operas. He acted in more than 100 films, and played lead characters in 18 films.


He is born to James Samuel and Jayakumari in Kazhakoottam, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. Ajith Kumar and Prasanna Kumar are his siblings. He had his primary education from Kazhakoottam Govt U.P School, Muslim Boys High School, Kaniyapuram and St.Xaviers College, Thumba. Kavitha Ranjini, better known by her stage name Urvashi (Oorvasi), is an Indian actress who has appeared in a number of films in Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. She is the sister of actresses Kalaranjini and Kalpana. She is one of the most loved heroines of the Malayalam film industry, having played some of the most unforgettable characters during the 1980s and 1990s.

Urvashi was born in Trivandrum, Kerala to well-known actor Chavara V. P. Nair and Vijayalakshmi. Her sisters, Kalaranjini and Kalpana, are also acclaimed actresses. She fell in love with popular actor Manoj K. Jayan and they married in 2000. On 11 October 2008 it was reported that Urvashi had obtained mutual separation from her husband. The couple developed difference of opinion and filed for divorce at a court in Chennai. Later, they were separated by a court order. Their only daughter Kunjatta is now living with Manoj K. Jayan.

She started acting films during the 1980s. Munthanai Mudichchu (Tamil, 1984), directed by K. Bhagyaraj, was her first film. Ethirppukal (Malayalam, 1985) was one of her earlier films in Malayalam. During the peak of her career, she starred in M. P. Sukumaran Nair`s award-winning film Kazhakam in 1995, without taking a single penny as remuneration. She was awarded Best Actress for this role.She was a leading Malayalam actress in the late 80s, giving performances in movies like Thalayanamanthram, Mazhavilkavadi, to name a few.

She made her debut in Tamil films with Mundhanai Mudichu (1983) with Bhagyaraj. The movie was a big hit and made Urvashi a sought-after actress in all the South Indian languages. Urvashi has also acted in many Kannada movies with top heroes like Rajkumar, Vishnuvardhan, Ravichandran and Ramesh Aravind. Her latest Kannada movie, Rama Shama Bhama (2005) with Ramesh Arvind and Kamal Haasan, was a crowd-puller and her performance was well appreciated by critics and audience.

Urvashi was also seen as the host of the game show Thanga Vettai, aired on Sun TV. She served as the host for the show for a very short time, preceded by Ramya Krishnan and succeeded by Kanika Subramaniam. Urvashi is currently the host of a successful "Ladies Show" on Surya TV Channel known as Rani Maharani. 

Kay Kay Menon is an Indian film actor who works in Hindi cinema.


Menon was raised in Ambarnath and Pune, Maharashtra. His early life was in "H" type Rangehills, Khadki which were factory quarters for those working in the ammunition and high explosives factories. His father was popularly known as "Cashier Menon". His parents moved from Kerala to Mumbai when he was very young.


KICHU, as Menon was known among friends, studied at the St. Josephs Boys' High School in Khadki. He passed his 10th grade in 1981. He did his Bachelors from Mumbai University and his MBA from the Department of Management Sciences at the University of Pune, graduating in 1988 with a major in marketing. He was popular in his class as a singer of ghazals.


Menon's initial focus was working in the advertising industry. He was involved in the first Kinetic Honda and Marlboro cigarette advertisements in India. He started his career in theatre productions where he met his wife, Nivedita Bhattacharya. He gradually moved to television acting and finally film acting. He made his film debut with Naseem (1995), followed by Bhopal Express.


During his struggling days, he was a regular feature at the Lunar Cafe, a small restaurant near the Santa-Cruz (East) bus stand.


In the early years of his career, Menon worked in TV shows such as Pradhan Mantri and TV movies like Zebra 2 and Last Train To Mahakali. Menon was first noticed in Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, where he was greatly appreciated with fellow newcomer Shiney Ahuja, and received much acclaim for his performance. His performance as the anguished DCP Rakesh Maria in the movie Black Friday has been widely appreciated and acclaimed. The movie, based on the book by journalist S. Hussain Zaidi on the 1993 Bombay bombings, awaited an Indian release for almost two years before its final release on 9 February 2007. It was featured at the Locarno International Film Festival and received widespread praise. The Sunday edition of the Indian Express described his performance, "Excellent as always".In 2007, he acted in the commercially and critically successful Life in a... Metro, as the adulterous husband of Shilpa Shetty's character. In 2008, he was highly appreciated for his performance in the film Shaurya. He played the role of the antagonist in the critical and commercial failure, Drona, starring alongside Abhishek Bachchan. In 2009, he starred in The Stoneman Murders where he played a police officer on the hunt for the Stoneman serial killer. Kay Kay will now be seen in Dream Man, a new film by Makrand Deshpande. The film is a spoof on Bollywood. The versatile actor will be seen in 13 roles against Bollywood actors Afzaal Khan, Vasudha of (Aasma band) and Amit Mistry.


He has been considered on par with actors like Irfaan Khan, Om Puri, Pankaj Kapur and Nasserudin Shah.
