Samskruthy Shenoy is an Indian actress who has acted in Malayalam, Telugu and Tamil movies. She was born on November 20, 1998 in Kochi and is the only daughter of Dr. Govind Raj Shenoy and T. A. Vidya.

As a 3 year old, she was so enamored by the song and dance sequences of the Hindi movie "Lagaan", she forced her family to watch the movie 6 times. Thus she joined Kochi Kalabhavan for training in classical dance. She has since trained in Bharatnatyam, Mohiniyattom and contemporary Indian dances. She was noticed by some people from Malayalam cinema and was offered roles at the age of 8. But her conservative family refused those offers.

In January 2012, she watched Shobhana present "Krishna" in a dance drama and had made up her mind to be a performer. Soon she was offered roles in Telugu movie, "Hrudayam Ekkadunnadi" produced by Kriti media and directed by debutant director Vi Anand.


She did modeling for the Kalyan Silks Ad Sale jingle and an ad-film for the PP Mall Mukkam. She also did small role in Malayalam film, "My Fan Ramu" released on 4 January 2013. She was also chosen to play the lead role in Tamil film "Kutti Puli" starring Shashi Kumar, but had to back out from the project due to exams and illness of her grandmother to whom she is very closely attached. Samskruthy was chosen as brand ambassador to launch the Amma Kitex Dezire youth bags in April 2013.


Her first major release was Black_Butterfly (2013) as Aarathy in Malayalam produced by Maniyan Pilla Raju and directed by Rajaputhra Ranjith. The movie was released amidst examination season on 15 February 2013 and turned out to be a commercial failure. But her performance along with the others was recognized and received well by critics and she started getting more offers. Her Telugu movie "Hrudayam Ekkadunnadi" is releasing on March 15, 2014. She will debut in Tamil with Thameem Creations "Kanaa", directed by C. Purushotham and co-starring Prabhu, Sukanya and new-comer Nithin Kannan. Her second film in Malayalam is "Nikkah" directed by newcomer Azad Alavil and produced under 'Anaswara' banner. It costars Sekhar Menon and Sreenath Bhasi of 'Da Thadiya' fame. Her third Malayalam film in a major role is "Vegam" costarring Vineeth Kumar, Jacob Gregory, Swapna Menon, Pratap Pothen and Shammi Thilakan. It is being produced by Fx4 movies banner and directed by Adfilm maker Anil Kumar.
