She received many criticisms, both positive and negative, for this role. She have recently done a guest role in Housefull, directed by Linson Antony. Meanwhile, she also stepped into Tamil through a movie directed by cameraman Madhu Ambatt, the shooting of which is in progress.Recently she directed a short film Pacha. Pacha has the voice by actress Bhama. There are songs too in the film, and a poem which has been sung by actress Ananya.


Sarayu is born to Mohan & Uma as the only child of her parents.She did her schooling from GVHSS Ernakulam and did her graduation on BA Literature at Maharajas College, Ernakulam. She is currently doing her post graduate degree in Literature from Annamalai University. She is also a dancer & is based in Ernakulam.

He was born in Thrippunithura and his real name is Thampi Elias. He studied at film institute, Adayar and has been a great fan of MGR. Though he began with Tamil movies in the 1980s he later concentrated on to Malayalam cinema. In between he quit the film industry concentrating on to other business fields after doing ‘Pappayude Swantham Appoos’ in 1992 and returned back in a bang with Aashiq Abu’s Idukki Gold which received a big positive response from critics and audience. The movie released in 2013 also included actors - Vijayaraghavan, Pratap Pothen, and Maniyanpilla Raju. He also came back as a disco dancer in the character role of Disco Duglus for Kili poyi.
