Anju Kurian is an Indian film actress who appears mainly in Malayalam and Tamil films.Best known for her roles in the 2016 Malayalam film Kavi Uddheshichathu and the 2018 film Njan Prakashan.

She started her career in the Malayalam film industry with a supporting role in the movie Neram which was directed by Alphonse Puthren.The following year, she played a supporting cast Ohm Shanthi Oshaana.She has also acted in several short films and musical videos.In 2019, she had two releases in Malayalam as female lead in movies Shibu starring Karthik and directed by Arjun and Gokul. Bhama said that until 2011, she was getting the same kind of roles in Malayalam. She started taking up Kannada film offers, after which she started getting fresh and interesting characters in Malayalam.  She is acting in Sohanlal's Kadhaveedu, where she plays the heroine in M. T. Vasudevan Nair's segment and her character is that of a modern girl, a media person, who is smart and energetic. In Rakesh Gopan's 100 Degree Celsius, she plays a Christian housewife, for the first time. She also has a small but significant role in Vinod Vijayan's segment of D Company, Day of Judgement, featuring Fahadh Faasil where she plays a psycho and wears no make-up.

Bhama has occasionally worked as a playback singer as well. She had reportedly sung the song "Kannil Kannil", composed by Rahulraj for a film titled Bike; however the film was cancelled and the song remains unreleased. She lent her voice for the devotional album Maaya Madhavam (2009), and has crooned the title song for the upcoming children’s film Meow Meow Karimppoocha.

Mammootty was born and raised in the village of Chempu near Anakapalli in the Kottayam district of the state of Kerala, India in a middle class, Muslim family. He was the eldest son of the family. His father Ismail was a farmer and his mother Fatima was unemployed. Mammootty's father shifted his family to Ernakulam during the 1960s; his school life was at St. Albert's School and Government School Ernakulam. He did his Pre-University course (pre-degree) at Maharajas College, Kochi, and then graduated with a L.L.B. (Bachelor of Laws) from Ernakulam Government Law College. He also practised law for two years in Manjeri. He married Sulfath in 1980 and has a daughter, Surumi (b. 1982) and a son, Dulquer Salman (b. 1986). Mammootty's younger brother Ebrahimkutty is a television and film actor in Malayalam. Ebrahimkutty's son Maqbool Salmaan is also a film actor.

Mammootty's debut was an uncredited appearance in the 1971 film Anubhavangal Paalichakal directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan, which starred Sathyan, Prem Nazir and Sheela in the lead roles.  His only scene in the film was being one among a running crowd along with the lead actor Sathyan. Mammootty then was a student at the Maharajas College. His second film was Kaalachakram, a 1973 Malayalam film directed by K. Narayanan, and starring Prem Nazir and Jayabharathi. This was the first dialogued appearance of Mammootty, who appeared only in one scene in the film. He acted under the screen name Sajin, but later dropped it. His professional film career began in 1979, when he played his first lead role in Devalokam, directed by veteran M. T. Vasudevan Nair. However, this film was never completed.

She was married to Nishanth kumar, on September 6, 2004. The couple filed for divorce and it was granted on October 1, 2011.

While doing his graduation at the Madras Christian College, he decided to enroll himself at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII) at Pune. He obtained his postgraduate diploma in Film direction and screenplay writing. Subsequently, he began to assist G. Aravindan for films like Thampu (1978), Kummatty (1979) and Esthappan (1980).

Isaac entered into film composing with the Kannada film Thaayi Saheba released in 1997. The film was received well by the critics and the music was appreciated. This paved the way for a long association of Isaac with the director Girish Kasaravalli. He went on to score for Kasaravalli's future films such as Kraurya (1998), Dweepa (2003), Naayi Neralu (2006) and Gulabi Talkies (2008).

In Malayalam, he composed for many films such as Margam, Sancharram, Kutty Srank, Punyam Aham and Adaminte Makan Abu and many others which won him Kerala State Awards and National film award. His score for the 1:1.6 An Ode to Lost Love (2004) was also appreciated at the Panorama at the International Film Festival of India.
