Pragathi Guruprasad was born to Guruprasad and Kanaka on September 14, 1997 in Singapore. In Singapore, her dad taught Carnatic lessons, which shows their dedication towards carnatic music. Both her parents are passionate fans of Carnatic music. Since a the age of 5, she has been learning Carnatic Music. At a very young age, she moved to the United States of America, from here where which she continued her Carnatic and Hindustani career. Although she was learning from her father at first, she began learning Carnatic from Sangeetha Swaminathan, a disciple Sudha Rughunathan. She also took interest in learning the Veena. Pragathi was exceptionally talented, pulling of both Carnatic and Hindustani classical music. She did both Carnatic and Hindustani concerts.She won many competitons, and has gotten critical appreciation from her mentors and spectators. Besides singing, she has taken interest in table tennis. On Twitter, she stated that if it weren't for her musical excellency, she would have gotten serious about table tennis. She also learned how to write and speak Sanskrit, which allows for her perfect diction when speaking Hindi and other North Indian languages. Other than Sanskrit, she can speak fluently in English, Tamil, Kannada. She has also learned a little bit of French. Now currently, she goes to school in California, and is currently a sophomore. She has an elder sister, Prithvi Guruprasad. Pragathi has more than 180,000+ fans on Facebook and 15,000+ followers on Twitter, a sensation that began when she participated in the reality show Airtel Super Singer Junior 3 She has won many singing competitions throughout the US, including Spandana Super Singer Junior 2010 and Carnatic Music Idol 2011(featured on Jaya TV). She did various Carnatic kacheris(concerts) and competitions across the USA. Now, Pragathi is doing shows across the USA, Europe, and India. Also adding, she sings at many programs at various organizations, such as the Tamil Sangams across North America, and other charity events, too. Pragathi has recently sung her first single In Europe, titled as Pattampoochi. Lyrics have been written by Jenitha Joseph. The music is by Kowtham Mohanarajan and the vocals are by Kadhalviruz and herself. This product is a result of work from 3 different countries (Denmark, Germany and America) and is also Pragathi's first song in Europe. On August 27th 2013, her song Aasai with TeeJay, a London based singer, was released, receiving critical acclamation for her singing.

Her subsequent release, the Dhanush-Nayantara starrer Yaaradi Nee Mohini (2008), brought her into limelight. Her comedic performance as the younger sister to the lead female, who has a crush on her sister's love interest, won her fame and many accolades. She subsequently appeared in a number of Tamil films, which, however, were less successful. 2009, she had six releases, four of which being Tamil projects. Out of her Tamil releases, the tragedy sports film, Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu, directed by debutante Suseenthiran, and the supernatural thriller Eeram proved to be commercially as well as critically successful. Later that year, she made her Telugu debut with Village Lo Vinayakudu and made her comeback to Malayalam films, starring in Chemistry. In 2011 she acted in M.Raja's Velayudham which turned out to be a huge hit. Her role as Vijay's sister won her a lot of good reviews. She also acted in another film named Dharani's Osthi in 2011. She plays the role of the lover of simbhu's (osthe velan) younger brother.

In 1999, during the shoot of Saran's Amarkalam, Ajith began to date his co-star Shalini. At that time, their involvement made him a regular subject of tabloid gossip, a role to which he was accustomed following his previous relationship. Ajith proposed to Shalini in June 1999, and following consultations with her family, she agreed. They were married in April 2000 in Chennai in a grand ceremony. As both were of different religions, Ajith being a Hindu Brahmin and Shalini being Protestant Christian, they were married together under the customs of both religions. After their marriage, Shalini retired as an actress and became a full time housewife, following the completion of two unfinished projects. Shalini started her career as a child artist in Ente Mamattikkuttiyammakku and she acted in all the films under the direction of Fazil. She went to study, she returned to acting with Aniyathipravu which was successful. Initially Fazil was keen on casting a debutant in the lead female role, but Shalini inisted that she should also star in the Tamil version. The success of the film prompted the director to make another film with the lead pair in 2000, Kannukkul Nilavu, however the film became a box office failure despite positive reviews. Her next film was Amarkalam, Saran initially approached Shalini, who was studying at the time and she refused but after a three month pursuit, he finally got her to sign on as well. She was offered the role in Padayappa which she rejected.

Adithya Menon born on 6 April, often credited as Adithya, is an Indian film actor who appears in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam films.



He was born in Mumbai and his family migrated to Dubai, UAE when he was really young. He spent his childhood in Dubai till the age of 18. He finished his schooling there in the Our Own English High School Dubai and then migrated back to India. He went to college in Bangalore at the M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology where he did his engineering. He has been an Atheist from early childhood.



While in College he auditioned for a slot at being a Radio Host with Radio Midday. That was his first stint in the Media. Soon he started hosting live events like fashion shows and product launches. He worked as a compere and event manager for a few years after getting out of college. During this period he got into armature theatre in Bangalore and acted in a few plays before being spotted by a co-actor Prakash Belawadi to star in a Kannada Television serial he was to direct for the then launching ETV Kannada. Adithya first faced a camera for this serial that was called Mussanjeya Kathaprasanga. Subsequently he was featured as the protagonist for another television serial called Soorya Shikari on the same channel directed by noted comedian Sihi Kahi Chandru.



He shifted to Chennai in 2001 and scouted for work as an actor. He first appeared in a television serial on Sun TV called Thanthira Bhoomi directed by C. Jerrold and produced by Radaan Mediaworks India Limited. He then bagged a role in the famous TV Serial Anni directed by the famous director K. Balachander. He kept trying to get into cinema and managed to get two movies as a new comer. He was cast in Anjaneya and Jay Jay at the same time. The movie that released first was the Ajith Kumar starer Anjaneya on Diwali day 2003.
